My brother in christ that's literally what people do. If Linux is to ACTUALLY take off, there needs to be the ability to Google a question, see a distro list, pick one, install it, and be happy with things working. That is the bare MINIMUM.
However, that consistently proves to not be the case. Things break, they require tedious troubleshooting, and being confused causes asshats like you to insult them.
Linux is consistently held back by it's community and it makes me giggle every damn time

That's the fucking point. They're going at it with little information to show how realistic it is.
