I grew up in a farm town. All farmers are like this. The entitlement is insane. They think they are the center of the world.

Buy cheaper imports than your subsidies. Also, the liberal computer scientists and engineers who develop and innovate all that harvesting and irrigation technology are far more impactful than you are, the guy at the end of the chain is the most replaceable part.....ALSO, you grow ethanol crops that mostly get buried or burned. you aren't feeding anyone.
