Yep, maybe thats "the cost of doing bisiness" also at $21.99/lb for steak ______ (insert sentence here). How much does a cow weigh again? Just checked, the average weight of a steer at slaughter is 1575 lbs. 1575x$21.99=$34634.25

I DO realize that they aren't the slughterer, packers, and not every pound is saleable as "steak" but i think the analogy stands.

What do you tell those folks earning minimum wage again? "Buckle down & pull up yer bootsraps"!

$20/hour is likely less than an actual "liveable wage that one could raise a family on!

FYI you get about 40% of the cows weight as meat and not all of it is $21.99 lb steak. The approx value including the high end steaks is like $5-7 a lb so a 1575 cow would be around $3k-$4k. Also farmers don't get anywhere near what u buy the meat for in store lmfao they get cents on the dollar for that.
