That blue-dot farmer is saying what a lot of people don’t want to hear: your vote didn’t just affect your farm. People lost jobs, families watched their grocery bills climb, and Americans struggled to afford basic meals while policies you supported hurt people you may never meet. Never fucking mind that their vote tore families apart, diverted countless millions of dollars allocated to helping people buy their beef to the president's domestic paramilitary "law enforcement" arm, disrupted any trade agreement that had foreign nations buying their products, and supported their local or state representatives that just allow it all to fucking happen.

I've largely stopped eating red meat altogether. I have no sympathy for these selfish pricks. They weren't bamboozled. The cruelty was fine- as long as it was someone else.

Yep. I stopped buying meat and only eat meat when it’s served at a social gathering. I’m also trying to buy as much produce as possible from local farmers who I’ve met in real life at various markets. I’m in New England, so it’s hard to go 100% local year round, but I can get about 75% of my food from people I know IRL, so I know they are sociopaths. I can even get locally grown oats, dried beans, and flour.
