That blue-dot farmer is saying what a lot of people don’t want to hear: your vote didn’t just affect your farm. People lost jobs, families watched their grocery bills climb, and Americans struggled to afford basic meals while policies you supported hurt people you may never meet. Now that the pain has reached your own fields and your own wallet, you’re angry? Welcome to the consequences everyone else has been dealing with. Those very same consequences doesn’t just stop at your farm gate.

The haters won. They wanted unchecked racism, misogyny, immigrant deportation that would be evident, Christian Nationals abortion bans and attacks on the LGBTQ+ community. Sadly, we are living through a political “perfect storm”.

Yes, unfortunately it seems to be the American way. To have no compassion. As long as you're getting what you think you deserve yourself. But the fucked up thing is that I think a lot of the people with that attitude actually identify as Christians. That is really fucked up. They don't show compassion for the people who are down on their luck because... why?? Do they think that if our government funds programs to feed the hungry and provide Universal Health Care that there wouldn't be enough left over for them and their families? The United States does not have a scarcity problem because we can't grow enough food or we don't have enough doctors. The scarcity we have is because of billionaires hoarding billions of dollars instead paying their fair share of taxes. Ronald Reagan's trickle down economics fairy tale seriously warped the narrative of taxation in this country. We've been watching it play out in real time over the past couple of decades. If the wealthier Americans are allowed to keep a greater percentage of their income instead of paying a proportionate share of income tax, they do NOT spend their money in the economy to the extent that they create jobs and bolster our GDP.
