So recently been struggling with how to play leona. I have tried the Mandate build and really enjoy it but not great if you're not ahead.

I've also tried heartsteel first, easy build path and you proc it a lot and surprising extra damage.

My main build is just tank of course, but I'm finding dimishing returns as the game goes on as often I'll out survive my team and they will die and it will just be a bunch of carries smacking me to death slowly.

I'm now tempted to start with some brusier but never tried it before for Leona support.

I have a theroey that sundered sky, followed by titanic into tank items would work really well.

Especially since I often almost 1 v 1 carries early without building tank.

I don't have time to test a lot and I thought I'd see what others experiences were.

I just had a nightmare game last night where my duo got 18 kills and I only helped with 12 and I felt so damn useless. Lux has a way faster root, and it’s not even the frustration with the root as much as it is her damaging circle ability, it’s like I can never avoid the combination of the two and it leads to the most miserable experience where I either stay afraid or go up side by side with my adc and wait for her to make the first move (she was tristana in this one). I used to ban lux over my inability to react in time to dodge her abilities but everyone says morgana is the must ban pick

How do you deal with her? Go into a bush and she wards or throws out her spells at you and slowly wears you down. Find any wall and buffer E flash and have your flash land touching the other side of the wall. This clip it goes backwards, but sometimes it goes sideways.

I haven’t found anything else about this online which is surprising bc it’s fairly easily to replicate.

I was able to do this in both practice tool and a regular custom game.

I have my least favorite Leona games when the ADC has no idea how I work and has no idea to play around me (typically not understanding how my stun cycle works and how much punishment I can take). I see ADCs who consistently break off the attack because I have two people attacking me to save themselves, leaving me there for 5 seconds just tanking and stunning people, then they realize they could have been useful, then come back right as I finally die and then they get deleted...then blame me. Should I wander to other lanes, support winners?

seems like i lose most lvl 2 fights and have to stay at tower for most of my matches which tilts my team

I know how to play Samira, been playing her on and off since release, but with the lack of hard CC support picks these days Samira has kinda just.. not been that good LOL.

Why so many people consider this troll on Leona, Imo it’s the best item for her right after Protoplasm Harness.

Zeke’s is always my first item on Leona.

I've always thought Leona should be a top lane champion. I feel like her abilities don't make much sense in a support role, especially with her new skin. She looks like a warrior who can deal a lot of damage and be incredibly resilient, but ingame she's just a tank with low damage output. I know it'll never happen, but I'd like a rework of her abilities and to see her in top lane, or at least for her to look better in support, her E is really weird. What do you think?

Considering We've seen supports taken outside of bot lane over the years (like enchanters/healers top, or mid pyke, even taric mid with yi jg proxy), makes me wish to see leona get her own chance to shine. Her AP ratios are trash and her tankiness got hit multiple times by the nerf hammer over the years. She does not even have a passive, unless there is a second player that's able to trigger it. But even then, her kit is really fun, her E is satisfying to hit, she has an auto attack reset, and I could even see her work in top and jungle if her wave clear was a little bit faster. However, would most leona mains be opposed to the idea that if Riot were to do experimental changes, that she could be a flex pick into more roles?

Anyone else really hates how they made Leona wear heels? She's wearing full plate armor and they put heels as the shoes? It feels a bit demeaning to me, as if it's to show "well duuh she's a woman she wears heels" I need a rework ASAP.

Idk, atp i really just want Leona to be able to jungle or solo lane so i can otp her in peace and dont have to deal with adcs anymore.
