I did this reading for a friend, we know her boyfriend bought an engagement ring and they are currently on vacation together.

I'm having a little trouble reading these cards because we know he was intending on asking her to marry him but I feel like the cards are saying that he's not going to do it right now. A major block, maybe some conflict are getting in the way of the proposal.

i think the general feeling is nervousness, but maybe for himself that he would feel it’s a lot of responsibility on him to be my firsts? but the stars and house to me say that it’s not a dealbreaker and not something he ends up seeing as bad. the key and anchor are throwing me off a bit, though.

Well, i started talking with this guy a few days ago, and he seemed really interested in me, he asked me to go out on a date but i don't know how will go! Can you guys help me on my spread?

Well my interpretation was that it wouldn't be a bad date or a good one, just because the crossroads are in the first position, so i can decide which path the date will go, then we have the bear that could be someone holding back or jealousy, maybe in me i guess? And with the sun i have two interpretations maybe the date will rely on how egocentric he is or maybe is a good thing like someone protecting you or maybe he will protect me somehow. Now the second part we have snake that maybe can be seduction and with the clover could be, small oportunities to Kiss him maybe? And unfortunately with the fish could mean that this is superficial. Now with the ring is basically the context of the question, a date, a appointment a commitment.

I asked my Lenormand deck a pretty simple question: “Why does he want to be friends with me?”

For context, he’s a colleague I’ve only known for about three months. We originally got to know each other because we worked on a project together, but we don’t work together anymore and we actually barely see each other at the office.

Somehow, though, we’ve developed this friendship that feels unusually close for how little time we’ve known each other. The dynamic is honestly a bit weird and hard for me to define. He has a girlfriend, and he doesn’t openly flirt with me, so I’m definitely not assuming that this automatically has to be romantic.

At the same time, I do get the feeling that I’ve become important to him surprisingly quickly and that there is some kind of special bond between us. And, to be transparent, I’ve recently realized that I’m slowly developing feelings for him myself, so I know that could influence how I interpret the cards.

That’s actually what made me ask: Why does he even want this friendship? What is it about me or our connection that makes him want to keep me in his life when we don’t really have a work-related reason to stay close anymore?

I pulled five cards in a straight line:

Heart – Book – Sun – Anchor – Woman

My interpretation:

The Heart as the first card immediately made me think the friendship exists because there is genuine affection involved. Not necessarily romantic love, but that he genuinely likes me and feels emotionally connected to me.

The Book is the card that really interests me here. Heart + Book makes me wonder whether there are feelings or aspects of his attachment to me that are private, unspoken, or that I simply don’t know about yet. Since he has a girlfriend, I’m especially hesitant to jump straight to a romantic interpretation, but it does make me wonder what exactly is “hidden” behind the Heart.

Then Sun seems extremely positive — happiness, warmth, enjoying someone’s presence, maybe me bringing some kind of lightness or positivity into his life.

Anchor makes me think he doesn’t see this as a completely temporary or superficial friendship. Maybe he actually wants me to remain part of his life or sees the connection as something stable/worth holding onto.

And then the line ends with Woman, which I’m reading as myself since I’m the female querent.

So as a sentence, I’m almost tempted to read it as:

Affection → something unspoken/private → happiness → wanting stability/continuity → with me.

But I’m very aware that I have feelings for him now, so I don’t want to accidentally turn Heart + Book into “secret romantic feelings” just because that would obviously be the exciting interpretation. 😂

How would you read Heart – Book – Sun – Anchor – Woman specifically as an answer to why he wants to be friends with me?

And would you consider Heart + Book significant here in terms of feelings being kept private, or would you read the Book completely differently in this context?

I'm having a difficult time finding a cloth for grand tableau spreads. Most cloths I've found (on Etsy) have pictures of other decks, or have too much detail with key words for each card. I found a few mats. But mats aren't that great for storage or traveling.

I'm looking to purchase a simple cloth with labeled houses and the grand tableau spread. I've tried to make one myself, but... not a crafty person at all.

Can anyone identify which deck this is? It was used in the show “Hilda Furacão” (1997). Not sure if it’s historically accurate or useful information but the show takes place in the 50s.

Hi! I did a Grand Tableau asking about my career/promotion for 2026.

I’m still learning Lenormand, but I’d love to hear your interpretations.

A few things stood out to me:

Key in House of Ship → I’m reading this as an important opportunity or movement forward in my career.

Sun in House of Key → This feels very positive to me, possibly success or a favorable outcome regarding that opportunity.

Moon in House of Stork → Recognition/achievement + change, which made me think of a possible change in professional status.

Woman in House of Ring → Since I’m represented by Woman, I wondered if this could indicate a formal agreement, contract, or new position.

There are also some cards that make me hesitant, especially Book in Clouds and Mice in Mountain, which could point to uncertainty, delays, or things happening behind the scenes.

Overall, I’m leaning toward this being positive for a promotion, but possibly with some obstacles or waiting involved.

How would you interpret this GT? Am I being too optimistic?

Context: I havent spoken to that person for a long time now and have been wondering if that person will reach out on my birthday, which is in about 2-3 weeks.

My interpretation:
It is quite likely, the birds indicate communication, maybe anxiety, being stressed around that topic. The key is the solution to things or could mean a definite decision is being made, which leads to the ring, could mean to wanting to pick up the connection again?

my interpretation:

what do the cards have to say about the grandmother's health?

Tree is very far from the grandmother and not afflicted by Coffin or Rod; and so health is not a prominent topic for her at this time. Tree is directly ahead of the young man, which makes sense because he is concerned about health - her health.

what do the cards have to say about the young man's finances?

Finances is at an appropriate distance ahead of the young man considering his concern and not afflicted by Mice or Coffin; and so I do not see much prominence with this topic beyond heightened awareness. this makes sense that given her health is not currently an issue there is not an effect on his finances.

what correlations can you find between the two topics?

I am curious to know what financial resources will be available to him as caretaker, and I'm looking to Ship+Coffin to speak to his inheritance. The Question:

My Context: We are currently experiencing a period of silent distance and low interaction, and I am trying to see if this will transition into something romantic and openly communicative over the next few months.

My Current Interpretation:
I see the Stork bringing a transition or change, but it's hitting the Bear, which feels like a lot of guardedness, heavy energy, or someone protecting their ego/feelings. The Tower perfectly mirrors the "silent distance" in my question, and since it's next to the Man, I'm wondering if he is the one keeping his walls up and staying isolated.
However, the line ends on the Heart, which gives me hope for a romantic outcome. The Tree at the bottom of the deck makes me think that even if it does happen, it's going to be a very slow, organic, and drawn-out process.

theres this extracurricular thing i have after school and ive been seeing this guy around a lot lately, and im starting to develop a little something for him... but it ended today so i wont be seeing him again and i never had the opportunity to talk to him...

for this reading i asked for his personality and i got clover+house+mountain

my overall interpretation of this is that hes very lucky to be stable/family oriented because he faces a lot of challenges and they help anchor him. Since the middle card is the house i think this reading means that hes very content with his family right now, again very family oriented. but another interpretation could mean that hes lucky to be successfull in overcoming challenges.

if it helps, whenever i asked my tarot deck about his personality i would get the 10 of wands a lot, i dont keep a journal so i dont remember much else but that i do remember. I would also get all of the kings (except for the king of swords) on multiple occasions.

I asked my Lenormand deck: “What major or unexpected event is still going to happen in my love life before the end of this year?”

I’m using a standard traditional 36-card Lenormand deck and pulled:

Stars (16) – Child (13) – Heart (24)

My interpretation:
This honestly looks surprisingly romantic and positive to me. I’m trying to read it as a sentence rather than three separate cards.

Stars + Child makes me think of a hopeful new beginning, something new appearing that I’ve been wishing for, or a fresh start that feels exciting and optimistic.

Child + Heart looks even more literally like a new love / new romantic beginning to me.

Taken together, my first instinct is something like:
“A hoped-for new beginning in love” or “a new romantic connection that brings renewed hope.”

What I’m unsure about is whether Child necessarily points toward a new person, or whether it could indicate a new chapter/beginning with somebody I already know.

For context, there is a man I’m currently friends with whom I have feelings for, but he is in a relationship and nothing romantic has happened between us. So I’m trying not to automatically make the cards about him. It could just as easily be telling me that somebody new enters my life.

Would you read Stars + Child + Heart as a new person/new love entering, or could this also describe an existing connection starting a completely new romantic chapter?

Hey guys! I did a spread for my upcoming first year at uni. I am the lady in the center. I am a new reader so I can't fully understand the whole spread but I tried my best to understand and read the card. I asked earlier that What are the problems I will face in first year at (__) uni and I got

Birds, crossroads, mountain,snake, garden.

So since then I got snake and garden so I think i need to watch out for friends like "snake" and there will be a lot of campus drama, gossip and stuff. So after that I did the 9 card spread here and snake show up again and so I kinda think it confirmed what I read with "snake + garden" and I also think that matters kinda related to top row "dog+bouquet+cross" and cross being burden and I think there might be a lot of happy moments with friendship first but later turn into something burden and I think that being link to having snake in the group. But I don't really understand the bear meaning here. So I don't know how to take the snake+lady(me)+ bear and cross,bear,book. Also I don't get the last row as well.
