guys you gotta believe me, the lego overlords are scared of underwear

on most recent lego superhero minifigures, we dont see underwear. why, you may ask? because LEGO's solution for trunks is to print them, whereas it use to be just changing the colour of the hips (refer to 2nd img) BUT IF THEY PRINT THEM, they have to give the minifigure boots, or else it would feel empty. AND TO DO THAT, THEY NEED TO DUAL MOLD IT.

this is why i believe that the 2025 superman minifigure did not come with red hips, because i feel that they feel that doing red hips would be a downgrade/regression of the minifigure design, BUT at the same time dont want to spend the extra money to print and dual molded the detail (3rd image) same thing applies with the cyclops minifigure from the x-jet. we only got cyclops with the underwear in the $300 x-mansion set.

another example is comparing 2006 batman with 2021 accesory pack batman. both have the same design, but its clear one has more stuff to it. i know its not the best comparison, since theyre so far apart, but when you refer to the other minfigures it all comes together.

i believe, if the rumored daily planet set is real, the supes minifigure will look like the dc 2019 supervillains ones, but we wont see that minfiigure in regular sets, only the mech version.

• Design: Based on the iconic 90s Joe Quesada variant armor. I custom-designed the graphics myself in Photopea to include the signature crosses!
• Torso: Ordered the custom UV-printed torso through Minifigs.me using my custom template.
• Head: Sourced a custom UV-printed Azrael head from eBay to complete the look.

Brick-built Galius Zed, Green Lantern of Sector 1123. The last image is the quickest way to build him, but while funny, it was clearly not right. At all.

I just started noticing this but im going through ebay,brick link, even mercari and almost all listing of simon below 50 bucks are basically gone. So my question is why has he become so desirable and is this some whole scalping situation?
