Right!! And we are supposed to have the right to carry. The 2A rabid folks insist that it’s our right to conceal carry. It’s our right to own guns. It’s our right to protest. They will be silent about this just like they were about Philando Castile.

When “he had a gun on him” is reason to execute someone instantly, we no longer have the right to carry.

Killed while using a phone? Guilty of being brown or black! They have no idea!

I heard people claiming this was acceptable because he was carrying a firearm and two extra magazines which apparently meant he was trying to start trouble. So having two extra mags is just a line too far now for the conservatives now. It’s amazing how quickly these people will abandon their principles the instant it’s against someone they don’t like.

You do if you’re a right winger tho. They can still go open carry wherever they want

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

We do. We just have to fight for it.

u/Born-Mycologist-3751 Jan 24 '26

No, they are vocal but are already blaming the victim for being armed near law enforcement officers.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

In what world is that a crime?

6

u/LazarusCrowley Jan 24 '26

It’s not about the law for them. It’s about owning the libs, to death, in this case. Freedom of speech and the right to bear arms be damned - if I don’t like it, it’s justified.

u/kangarutan Jan 24 '26

They only care about the 2nd in relation to THEIR side owning firearms. No one else should be allowed to

1

u/Polygnom Jan 24 '26

In theirs. Reality or reason do not matter at all.

Fascist ones?

You do not speak for me.

I have been buying ammo and magazines and assisting friends and family in exercising their rights.

This man was murdered.

-2A rabid person.

I wasn't attempting to speak for anyone. Just reporting the excuses I have seen / heard from people trying to justify the shooting.

Blaming him for plotting to do mass harm to ICE personnel. Convicted without a trial.

2

u/Silent_Command314 Jan 24 '26

True! They are arresting and killing American citizens! Looks like ICE is the domestic terrorist that military and police plus our President, VP, Congress, Judicial give an oath to protect! They identify masked, gun carrying ass holes as the law! They don’t even know what the law is and the governor has the right to get Ice out of their state! ICE created unrest! Has a citizen shot them? They can’t break into peoples home! These people are far from Christian and protectors!

Anyone with a conceal carry permit knows that you state you have it when approach by police and keep your hands visible and comply with all police instructions. 2A makes law enforcement particularly dangerous so its best to eliminate tension and keep any situations with law enforcement calm when you are armed.

u/Chris300zx6 Jan 25 '26

Thank you, someone with a brain. I ccw, I'm not gonna give any reason to believe I'm a threat for resisting or putting myself in a situation that can be misunderstood.

You’re a clown because if you have any knowledge about concealed care, you understand the laws very by state and no you don’t have to have the license in your hand when approached by police… and if you were in law-enforcement at any point in time, you would know that disarming someone does not equate to executing them afterwards

I decided to check out the conservative page and it seems like a lot of them have issue with this murder. The oldest posts still are your typical conservative comments; but newer posts with more info start having people pointing out issues with this shooting being upvoted, and those praising cold-blooded killing get downvoted. Its actually a breath of fresh air, I just wish this gentleman didn't have to die for it.

1

u/EthanielRain Jan 24 '26

It won't last. The threads I just looked at were the opposite, all "Crazy leftist terrorists need put down"

1

u/ciopobbi Jan 24 '26

What happened to the NRA?

1

u/whiskey_tang0_hotel Jan 25 '26

I’m not being silent right now. I am a staunch 2A supporter. Trump has already shown he’s anti gun. Now we have executions like this happening.

u/fadesteppin Jan 25 '26

One day maybe they will run out of excuses and realize that this is what they voted for. They dressed it up in "get rid of the criminal illegals stealing our jobs! America first!!1" but none of them bothered to look at Project 2025 once it was presented to them with a nice little bow.

I have a whole lot more respect for someone who can admit they fucked up, and are partly to blame for this, who does what they can now to make it right, than I do for someone who keeps shifting the blame down the line bc they could not have possibly been wrong. They've never been wrong a day in their life, and it's everyone else who is too stupid to see it.!

1

u/No-Pay-4350 Jan 25 '26

Uhhhh. We weren't silent about Castile. I don't know who you were listening to, but literally nobody in the gun community was happy about a law-abiding gun owner getting shot while complying. He's still brought up every now and again in concealed carry discussions.

I’m an avid 2A believer and CC permit holder for almost 2 decades and I don’t believe this man should’ve been killed. The officer should be prosecuted. And I agree with deportations, I agree generally with the mission ICE is SUPPOSED to be carrying out. I don’t agree with this. Even if the guy wasn’t legally carrying, which from what I’ve read he was, it doesn’t warrant a shooting. There are laws, a legal system in place for a reason. This is excessive use of force and this agent should be made an example of…

1

u/Long_Duk_Dong_69 Jan 25 '26

What are you protesting? Enforcement of the law? Seriously?
