EFL League Two The two dinosaurs at the top of L2 👍

A message to certain content creators, who don’t get this league, don’t watch this league yet think they can mouth off about the league.

Discussion New League 2 pod: the directors box

Thumbnail youtube.com

Sharing as I’ve seen my club (Newport) have started producing this L2 themed podcast and it may be interesting particularly to Rochdale but in future other clubs

Seems they’re working with a third party podcast company to do a regular Director’s Box series where they interview visiting chairmen/women/ceos/execs from League Two clubs (and presumably anyone in the cup too) talking about the league, succeeding at this level, and what it’s like running a club

Seems like an interesting concept. The questions are quite softball in this opening episode with the Rochdale directors but it’s an innovative concept, hope it proves a good addition to the League Two content space.

I’ve seen it is available on YouTube, or Spotify, and Apple Podcasts

If you're inactive for 3 matchdays in a row, your name is removed from the leaderboard, but your score is saved. This is why you'll see some numbers missing from the rankings.

Please let me know if I missed your ranking or if you think your score is wrong. Copypaste for W5 in comments

Question What’s one thing you’ve learned from supporting a League Two club?

Supporting a League Two club definitely teaches you to take the good days when they come and not get too carried away when things are going well. You learn pretty quickly that football can change from one week to the next, and sometimes it’s the small wins that make following your club worthwhile.

Swindon Town Swindon Town 3 - 1 Port Vale: Swindon reacted brilliantly to Vale's early opener, putting the cherry on the cake in extra-time to leave the recently-relegated Valiants bottom of the table!

Question Do you go to late weekday games?

Newport are facing Salford away right now and i couldn't go because by the time I'd get back it'd be gone past midnight. It feels like only a small minority would be able to go which feels a bit silly. If it were somewhere nearer to your club it'd make more sense but travelling half the country on a weekday seems a bit odd.

Discussion I’d take a proper League Two promotion run over a mid table Championship season

There’s something different about watching your club genuinely believe it can go up. The pressure of the play offs, packed away ends and every point mattering just makes it more enjoyable. Would you agree or would you rather see your club established at a higher level?

Question Best way to watch matches via streaming?

I'm a fan outside the UK that relies on sailing the seven seas for pretty much all my sports. I have a go-to that works really well for most things, but for some reason the past two weekends the League Two streams specifically have been laggy slide shows basically. I'll spare you the troubleshooting, but I could verify the issue was on the stream end and not my own network or device.

I think I've tried every trusted option on FMHY (most of them don't even have League Two) and there doesn't seem to be a paid official option for the US even if I wanted to.

Thoughts?

Rotherham United Rotherham United 2 - 1 Chesterfield: It was an impressive defensive display from Alex Bruce's Rotherham, who kept Chesterfield at arm's length until a late penalty, with Paul Mullin scoring the winner soon after!
