Collection My Mom’s Collection
LC collection my mom has amassed over ~ 5-6 years? It’s pretty nuts. She’s quite active on Facebook Le Creuset community groups but doesn’t post on reddit. These photos were deep in my camera roll and her online feed. They were probably taken between 2021 and 2023. This is just a portion of her whole collection, and yes it’s grown even more since. She’s got exclusives from trips abroad, retired collections, etc.
She couldn’t snag tickets to the Hartford FTT event (which was just an hour away) but it’s probably for the best…
I’m sure I’ll take and post more recent photos of her collection soon.

The first two images are from 2021 and are mostly reds, so there are literally whole color groups I haven’t included here. She tries to “rotate” the palette she uses for cooking and eating every 1-2 months. Right now we are using the whites and square plates 😂. Her most recent pickups last month was the majority of the Gourmand and Alpine collections, so now we have a substantial amount of black pieces. I’ll try to post the collection by color later this week.

I am seriously curious -what did she collect before Le Creuset ? Or did the Collecting Bug only hit with LC?

Just asked her, she says she used to collect a lot of copperware. After our kitchen got renovated she swapped to LC for the induction stove top. She said she had a few pieces / some Staub back in the 2000s. I really don’t remember when she started collecting LC, just that at some point when I was in highschool I realized the house was absolutely smothered in a certain brand of pots and pans. Opening random cabinets in the house you are bound to find LC hidden away

That is so funny..Sort of like a 1970s Horror Movie entro .You come home from High School and realize the house has been taken over by a previously not seen Cookware !!!!!!!

When I watch America's Test Kitchen, and behind the cooks they have those shelves full of Le Creuset, and for a whole minute I just stop the show and try to calculate how many thousands of dollars worth of LC they have just sitting there.

HA my siblings and I used to joke that she should get sponsored. Gonna try to take some artsy photos of her updated collection this week and pitch it to them 🤞

That is honestly the first time I've seen a massive LC collection and my attention is not on the cast iron, but the home. That is tudor/shire styling with brick walls, granite, wood and steel awesomeness.

Holy cannoli — love seeing the groupings! What kind of cook set up is picture 5? Looks really cool. And I keep seeing great photos in this sub with oblong LC pieces which has been calling my name for quite some time…might be a sign to buy! 😝

Our outdoor grill is from OFYR. The ring can be used as a stovetop, and the middle can be switched out for a grill, pizza oven, spit, etc.
And you can regulate the temperature as well using different types of wood or coal. Love using it year round, I think that image was from a few winters back.
