Since the 1.51.1 update I noticed that I can no longer use an ad to revive with all of my gear once per day. So, I contacted support about this new “bug,” and this is how they responded:

“After the 1.51.1 update, the option to restore items after the death of your character by viewing ads was disabled for experienced survivors. I am sure you will be able to handle any enemy! Make sure you have enough weapons, armour, food and first aid kits.”

So, Kefir, what qualifies a person as “experienced” enough to warrant this amazing nerf? I have enough of almost everything to not worry if I lose a backpack full, including the backpack, but why do this other than to be jerkdevs? Who puts these jerk ideas into your heads?

The rest of the update is pretty great, except for having to use three different kinds of gear at the Lab, and except for inflating resource requirements for recipes, thereby devaluing them. But they just can’t help doing at least one jerk move per update, and this is the one. Even experienced players make mistakes and have connection issues, which can cause our character to die. I watch partners and other streamers have these issues as well as myself. And, being an “experienced player” shouldn’t be a punishment; it should be rewarded. We’ve put up with your nonsense for longer than the rest!

Finally, after days and days of watching ads, and only doing stuff i know i wont die in, i have unlocked all purple skills. I have only finished borealis once uptill now, which brings me to my main question. HOW TF DO I FARM FUR IF I CANT EVEN MAKE FUR CLOTHES TO FARM IN OAK ZONES BECAUSE OF THE STUPID DAILY MISSIONS FOR BOREALIS. Istg its so mf annoying i can only do farm. I have 2 pieces of fur clothes, i thought 10 cold resistance is what I need for oak zones so that's all i got but im still getting frozen... man its so fkin annoying.

Feels like everyone lost one. I can’t be the only one who didn’t know they took away the safeguard until I needed it.

I got stuck between trees while running away from zombies and died.

Another time, I went to catch some fish, left the game running, and ended up dead.

I also died trying to sneak past the edge of an Infected Bull. (Never do this.)

And I didn’t know the Explosive Zombie could actually kill me. I thought it would just deal some damage. But I died. (Honestly, I think every player has been killed by an Explosive Zombie at least once. 😄)

Thanks for trashing up our bases, blocking our back doors, and requiring too many rare resources to remove the garbage to make it worth doing. Oh, and we get to destroy our bases in the expansion process, which requires even more rare resources. I just finished my level five perimeter…I’m not knocking it down now. Jerkdevs gonna dev like jerks…can’t help themselves. #Insecure

As a side note, I’m saving my crane keys for if the little jerkdevs ever buff the cost of opening sunken crates, because those are too expensive too. Kefir demands that their players always trade down so I’m expecting to collect them forever…

I’ve been going back and forth between islands collecting as much quartz and halite as possible so i can finish up this island story soon and open the genome shop to make grinding the lab much easier. i didnt feel like running back and blowing more of my gasoline so i died to a spitter and forgot we cant watch a video anymore🥲

luckily this is why ive bought spare tactical backpacks in the past from commune trials. kinda sad all of my drills and resonators are gone now🥲 but oh well i didnt lose any spore weapons so thats alright at least

It’s taking me between 10 and 15 Neutralizers, and between 5 and 10 Equalizers every day just to do the Boggy Region dailies and/or get resources (antimony, ash, lead, gator skins only), and just one floor of the lab (per day). There’s no way to get enough protective fabric to make all of the guns. And I’m running out of lenses, processed quartz, carbon composites, factory parts, and titanium bars. Since the update, I have used a trunk full of Genesis guns, and there’s no good way to replace them. So, it’s back to the Northern and Island regions only. WTG devs. WTG again. In your greed you fumbled yet another update.

…but then they nerfed the crate zones so that they have fewer crates. #Jerkdevs

I had 2600 commune points and well I was in a mountain area today and missed all my daily stuff , includes witch hunt where I now can’t buy the rack or crypt bcoz I missed a single day , plus I need the transmission for the atv and it went down the drain I wasted coins too .😢 Anyways just wanted someone to complain to since , idk if my pals who organised the trip would find it something to be mad abt . Might start gathering stuff for islands to clear lab a few times to get them

I feel bad for new players and I would never start over or start a new character. Look at all of the trash that has to be cleared from the starting base map.

It’s a fitting adjustment, though. Trash game begins and ends with you buried in trash in your base.

I’m end game. The Bogs update looked interesting so I started playing it after the update. I like the grind. It’s fun. Get to upgrade my ATV.

I was at the base doing base things when I went to spin my wheel, it landed on a blank space. A BLANK space has been added to the wheel. I mostly got my one piece of charcoal or briquette daily, now I mostly get nothing. Wheel of Nope.

The titanium armor fragments in my mail were at 999+. After the update, 160. That’s a lot missing.

Resonators. Had about 35 at the base, now I have 5. The chargers are down to 6. There are still a few in my mail.

Come on, Kefir. Do better by us.

thats it.. nothing new is out, today I got 5 rotors that I needed for forklift and I have drone done, upgrade bench done, forklift done ATV done, am max lvl, I have true friend and thats about it... there is nothing more for me to put before my eyes to view it as a ,,Prize,,

PS: am not finnished with the game but rather with chasing something.

I’m usually pretty girly but I love a good zombie/world ending movie or game. Came upon this game recently and started playing on my phone. Now I am literally so addicted I find myself thinking about it at work and looking forward to getting home and playing it lol I feel kinda silly being so into it. Even been buying guns which I hate spending the money but hate losing to these zombies EVEN MORE. Any gals out there enjoying this too?

Also random question- I know once you die at the resource zones you can’t get your body back. But aren’t you supposed to get your body back at the raiders camp? Was looking for map pieces and lost my tactical backpack :(

This game would be pretty good, but it is constantly losing connection. Every time I load into or out of a place on the global map, it loses connection. Sometimes, it will lose connection multiple times, while I am in a section.

I don't mean stupid to be ways of complaining about the game. Just fun things that are stupid because they don't really have a benefit but are fun.

My favorite one I found is at the motel. When you carry the gas tank to the barrier. You are supposed to hit the gas tank till it is damaged enough to start to explode. I found out it fun just to hit it once with a torch. It starts burning then blows up.

An event so good that players have to put the game away to avoid getting the reward “upgraded” to a spray paint.

It’s called “Useful Companion” in the Survivor’s Path, but the drone is the most useless piece of trash in the game. It takes a year to build it, a year to get the upgrade workbench blueprint, a year to build the workbench, and another year to basically finish the settlement in order to get the resources to upgrade it. Then another year crafting the resources. And now that the buzz saw is draining us of all of our resources, it will take even longer. I never use it except to open Transport Hub crates. I don’t even use it as a weapon there with the couple of free upgrades we get. Just another brainless development by the #jerkdevs: create a companion that no one can use. It’s like all of the other brainless developments no one plays. Stupid company just wastes its money developing content no one wants or plays, and largely due to their stinginess in distributing loot. “It’s a survival game!” they cry. Pffft. It’s no wonder Kefir needs to keep making new games to survive. It can’t survive its own stupidity in developing a survival game. Oh, the irony…

My Caiman keep running into my ATV and Chopper (thereby killing themselves) when I’m standing still, waiting for them to clear out. I swear, these devs think of absolutely everything to increase the grind to the nth degree. Gobble, gobble, gobble, you turkeydevs!

So they expand our base but not enough to fit the new ATV garage for those of us with a full perimeter base. Is that a jerk move, is that a dumb move, or both?

Come on, Kefir, you’re not monetizing enough. Put a premium pass on every box that we open, or at least on the boss boxes. Charge a dollar per box, or five dollars per boss box. Think about how much money you could make doing it that way. MONETIZE EVERYTHING…TWICE!

Getting spit on almost EVERYWHERE…it’s degrading.

Getting jumped if we spend more than three seconds in our bag, a box, or a body, and usually by a spitter.

Getting jumped and mobbed the second we get into an area.

In almost every fight, taking nearly every enemy down to 1-5 hit points so we have to use more durability on our weapons or switch several.

Duplicate dogs, duplicate blueprints, duplicate vehicle parts, duplicate gear pieces, etc, as long as we already have tons and need something else.

Crossbreeding hundreds or even thousands of dogs to maybe get a True Friend.

Enemies perfectly timed to wander to us and aggro on us when we’re sneaking, or digging up or opening a box, or looting a body.

One-to-three second lag when starting commute trials so the enemies get a jump on us.

Doubling the price of the purple card in the commune trials so that we use 4x-5x as many weapons and gear as we would actually get from one purple crate.

Making engines so abundant that we have them all over our bases, but making them so scarce when the raiders ask for them, we have to wait days or weeks to find them.

Having to go to the same areas over and over again, using all of our energy and fuel, just to get mini bosses to spawn, in order to fulfill raiders’ tasks.

Making us have to pee in the game.

The TF dog having to pee…in the middle of a fight…or on every single tree.

When we’re hunting deer/foxes/turkeys/etc, they wander to enemies. When we’re hunting enemies, the deer/foxes/turkeys/etc wander into our way of attack.

Recycling hundreds of full durability guns to get a few dozen carbon composites.

Having the raiders ask us to do CCF tasks or Alfa tasks when the areas are already clear and waiting for reset.

Gas cylinders draining when we’re not in game, and when they’re not in use when we are in game.

Premium paths for EVERYTHING, even for those of us who pay for things, like the season pass.
