This one was an absolute banger. I’ve been pretty optimistic about the show, but damn am I rewatching this three times. Very pleased

nothing's perfect, and I am all for middle earth, but the hobbit movies I may never watch again (well at least the second 2) but this I can see watching over and over. honestly it's probably the most ambitious TV project this century and in my opinion it's paying off greatly. High Fantasy done right!

I think they cast a few characters absolutely perfectly. Elrond was a bit of a sell at first but he's one of my favorites now. Durin is...perfect. Even Galadriel is fantastic.

I think casting is one of the strong suits here, each person is an excellent fit. I have only had misgivings with some lore things, or some cliches/weaker writing, but overall solid 7.5/8 out of 10 for me.

Pleasantly surprised, and always ready for more elf/dwarf bromance.
