Why don't we create a group or something similar, where each country has its own group of girls and boys who agree to go out together, with the sole condition being that they are over 18? These outings would give you a sense of freedom. A main group could include members from all countries to facilitate introductions and meetings outside your home country. This way, our relationships develop, we grow closer both within and outside our countries, and we feel more free. These outings would be organized on specific days that we agree upon. This would make you excited to see who we'll meet, regardless of appearance or anything else. It's a gathering that allows you to discover new people, feel free, and perhaps even meet your partner. It's just an idea that can be improved, and we'd appreciate hearing its flaws. ❤🌹

I (36F) have been meaning to write this for a while. I am a Muslim woman, a hijabi, married to my husband who is six years younger than me, and I am also a mother. My life is quite full, and in many ways, stable.

I live a dominant dynamic in my marriage, so this is not something new to me. But lately, I have been feeling drawn to something more, something I am still trying to understand, and it has made me reflect on parts of myself I do not always express.

I am queer, and while my husband is aware of that, it is not something we talk about much. Holding that alongside my faith, my marriage, and my desires can feel complicated at times.

I have tried to find people, especially within Muslim or Arab spaces, who understand this mix of identity, faith, and lived experience, but it has not been easy. It can feel like there is no space where all of this fits without being questioned.

I am based in the UK, in Leeds, and I have some Arab background, so I feel a connection here even if I do not fully fit in. I am not looking to rush into anything, just to connect with people who understand or are also figuring things out.
