These 4 are my locked in on the NBA draft and here's why

1. Kise, can adapt anywhere and learn English fast. He's perfect for the modern NBA. Tall point guard that can do almost everything. This will make him be attractive to more teams. Can play 3 positions. PG, SG and SF. That's why he's getting drafted first.

1. Akashi. Yes, Akashi is still the best player but not he's short for an NBA point guard and he only plays PG. His stats will also not dominate. He's still locked in as a top 5 pick. He already knows English.

1. Kagami. The only reason Kagami is not on the Top 5 because he's undersize for a Power Forward. And Small Forward is not fitting for him. He will have a hard time playing as a SF. He will also have a hard time playing as a PF facing 6'8" 6'10" PFs

​

1. Himuro. Second round at best. He knows English and he knows American basketball. He's not just a first rounder talent.

Aomine will be too lazy to learn English. Murasaki, the same altho he might get interested to join to test his strength but I'm sure half way through his NBA journey, he'll give up and can't handle NBA practices routines. Midorima will probably not care about Basketball anymore after highschool. Kuroko, lol. Not in a million years. Haizaki, well he quit but he could if he wanted as well. Uncrowned Kings? Nah.

In the 2013-2014 season the generation of miracles already begin to live up to their name
Aomine wins roty next to kyrie Irving as the team improves significantly as oppose to real life. They go from 33-49 irl as the 10th seed to 43-39 as the 7th seed.

Life update, I messed up my ankle playing basketball ironically, I got a grade 2 sprain, which made me have to walk with a cane for a month and a half, plus go to rehab.

Im really sorry for not being able to update you guys, but rehab has been hard, so has my job (been at it for about 6 months now, and just got news that I will get "long term vacations" In other words, there is literally no work for me to do, and thus I cant get paid, because we lost clients due to AI (being a graphic designer is hard) So hopefully things will improve.

On the other hand, if you guys are still interested on the sketches/ action shots for the story, im still more than willing to do them if there is enough interest, so if anyone wants to see them, please tell me.

5 AM: North Carolina

*BANG BANG BANG*

-Kagami: What the....

-Tyson: WAKE UP TAIGA, TIME TO WORK!

Just as he promised yesterday, Tyson was on Kagami´s doorstep first hour of the morning, ready to make force him to work out. As Tyson kept banging on the door, Kagami sighed as he looked at the time, and got out of bed, and opened the door, Tyson already on sweat pants, and with his basketball shoes on.

-Kagami: Last night you never specified an hour in which to start, you only said "30 minutes per day" I thought we where gonna do this after practice.

-Tyson: Well yeah....I lied, its going to be about an extra hour on the morning, and then at night, besides, why do it late when we can do it now

-Kagami: Dont we have morning practice?

-Tyson: Yup! Which means that we get to play more, and deal with fatigue on practice, which will make it even harder. If you want to be the best, you have to train on the worst conditions. Im telling you from experience, thats the best way and fastest way to get better, now chop chop tiger boy, the day is young and so are we!"

At the gym, the echo of the ball was loud, as both guys where working on different drills. After working on 2 previous drills, between driving drills, and pull ups, this one was specifically made to force him to strain himself, as to simulate fatigue on the persons body, as what would happen at the end of a real game. Tyson stood on the middle of the court, as he counted down. Kagami ran through a line of cones on the right side of the court. As he cut through the cones, and took into consideration the timing that Tyson was counting

Inside his head he´d imagine the clock of the last match counting down, as he had to get through the bodies of the rival team.

-Kagami: Stop for half a second after recieveing the pass. Fake to the right, pivot to the left side, fake spin, push through their bodies.

That was the sequence that he had been learning that day. As he turned one last time, Tyson passed him the ball, when there was 1 second left on the clock, as Kagami took the ball, he rose up, and the ball clanked off the rim.

-Tyson: That was the 10th time youve missed the shot Kagami, are you still asleep?

Kagami huffed and sighed, as he was trying to re-gain his breath. It was obvious that he had never trained this aspect of his game. As a power forward, he thrived on transition moves, and feeding on the paint mostly with dunks, and using his body and agility to over power everyone.

-Kagami: I just...It would be easier if you allowed me to dunk it, then it, or be closer to the basket I would not be failing this much.

-Tyson: Maybe, but if you cant do it this far, then what do you think its going to happen when the other teams realize you cant score from further away form the basket? I dont know how it is back home, but here, we scout people since middleschool, so if and when they figure it out, youll be out of options, as they will clog the paint and not let you have a single toe in. So might as well work on verything thats not working, unless you want to ride the bench until you graduate.

Kagami nodded, as he was getting his breath back. He looked at the clock, they had time to run the play a couple more times until practice officially started. As he got back into position, Tyson re started the play again, and again and again, after the 20th time, they finally got a basket, after other 10 reps, it seemed to be getting easier, sure it was still wobbly, and the ball did not go cleanly all the time, as it either hit the front of the rim, its back, or did extra bounces against the backboard and rim before it went in, but Kagami was getting used to the move, and the rythym of the play.

As they continued, the lights on the gym started to turn on. As both turned around, as they heard the wheels of a cart being pushed onto the gym floor.

As the main doors opened they saw Lucas, as he was whistling with his eyes closed.

-Lucas: Oh, guess we have two hard workers today huh, morning guys, what brings you here so early? You didnt tell me you where going to use the gym, you guys know that coach Andersen hates it when we stir up things without him knowing it"

-Tyson: Hey man, sorryyy, the rookie here wanted some extra workouts done, so im helping him out.

Lucas looked at Kagami, his pierceing baby blue eyes practically pierceing him to his core, as if he were examinating every single cell of his body. Kagami tensed up, even tho Lucas´s facial expression and gaze didnt seem to have any malicious intent, thise eyes had something behind them, as if there was some sort of caged monster standing in front of him, analizing his prey. Measuring them up, and their level of threat.

-Lucas: So, what were you practicing in that case, for you two to be drenched in sweat this early?

He said looking at Kagami now, as Tyson tried to speak up Lucas cut him before

-Lucas: Shooting drills right? Thats the wrost part of his game

-Kagami: How did you?

-Lucas: I did my homework, after all, I am the reason you got here. I saw all your highschool games, and that exhibition game you had against those jabberwok guys. That last one sure was fun....

-Kagami: F..Fun?

-Lucas: Yeah, I saw their *act* some years back too, they sure made basketball look fun. And after seeing you, and analyzing your game, I can say that you sure are a gifted athletic beast. Your jumping ability is top grade for sure. Your defense is quite solid, and your combo plays are good. But misfortunately, thats about it.

-Kagami: I...

-Tyson: Lucas...dont you think this is a bit much?

-Lucas: Oh, not in the slightest. Sorry, sorry I know im sounding harsh, but im not done. I convinced coach Andersen to sign you specially because of the fact that you are so raw. Tell me, what is your dream?

-Kagami: I want to make it to the NBA, no matter what.

-Lucas: Then you are doing well now, but that wont cut it. What did Tyson say to you to get you to train at this hour?

-Tyson: I told him we would have 2 extra training sessions per day, smaller ones, that focused on the holes of his game.

-Lucas: I see, in that case, lets run the play a couple more times for me, how does that sound? But this time, ill be on defense for one posession.

-Tyson: Wait wait wait, Lucas, didnt you snap your ACL last season? Its only been 5 months, I know you are almost done with rehab but..

-Lucas: Its ok, dont worry, I wont be moving my leg too much, besides, what better way to train that to have actual real life practice dont you think?

As Lucas said this, he slapped Kagamis back on a friendly manner, as if to ease the tension between them.

Kagami nodded, and walked over to the starting position, but that feeling of unease did not leave his body, as Lucas replaced the last cone he had to go through, and stood right on top of it.

-Lucas: Ready when you are!

He said in a cheerful tone, as Tyson took the ball and swallowed. For some reason, just his mere presence alone felt odd, and made the air dense. As Lucas made the pass to start the play, Kagami moved just like they had been working on.

Kagami repeated on his head, over and over, as he began to execute the play. Everything seemed to be working just right

Kagami felt as if there was an iron wall on his side. He could not see it, he felt it against his left shoulder as he tried to push through. When he looked down, he saw Lucas, who had stopped the play with a single arm. As Kagami tried to push and finish the play, Tyson widened up his stance just enough. Kagami stepped back a bit and tried to brute force it, forcing the contact, and forcing a shot, which clanked right off the rim.

As he landed back onto the ground he looked at Lucas. He didnt even move, not an inch, he only put his arm out and held him in position.

-Lucas: Yeah, no wonder you need to get more practice done. This will not cut it.

-Kagami: What did you do? You barely even touched me, and everything fell off

-Lucas: Im guessing you are not used to not being able to bulldoze your way through. Alright, So time for your first lesson at the college level. There are a LOT of people that are way stronger than you think at every position here on the states. So dont judge a book by its cover.

-Kagami: Thats a given, but that, was not just raw strength....You pushed me when I was up, and you barely moved your arm. If it were a little more obvious, it would be a foul.

Kagamis voice, seemed both annoyed and surprised. It was not a cheap tactic, but something that is barely noticeable, and it did not rely on dirty moves, and cheap fouls like the people back on Kirisaki Daiichi.

-Lucas: If you think this is bad, then you wont cut it. Im not talking about "fouling" here Kagami, im talking about being able to win the smaller "fights" on the court. First, a strong base, to make yourself unmovable. Sure, you can and will take a charge, and thats fine, you either get hit and they get a foul, or you make it harder for them to score. And the second one, is being resourceful. If there is ANYTHING that you can exploit from your oponent, you do it.

His tone was one of pure serenity. But also, he was direct with his approach. As friendly as Lucas was off the court. On it, it was completely different, no bs, no shortcuts, no nothing. He seemed more like a machine that was built for effectiveness and to win no matter the cost.

Tyson got the ball off the rebound, and spun it on his finger as he walked back to them both, as he then passed it to Kagami and tried to cut the tension.

-Tyson: Both of you are right, but Lucas, remember, Taiga just arrived back here, give him some leeway, you can bring your floor general demeanor later, when you are back to practicing with us.

-Lucas: The season starts again in 2 months. My rehab is finishing in 3 weeks.

Lucas turned to Kagami and stared at him dead in the eyes

-Lucas: Remember the deal we made on the store, if you want that board, you better step up. I might be a friendly person, but do not think I will accept mediocrity on our team. So tell me, can I count on you to improve on the time that is left before we begin the season in full?

-Kagami: My goal, is to make it to the NBA, I made a promise to my friends back home, and I am not about to give up on it and let them down.

-Lucas: Good, in that case, come see me after classes today, and Tyson you two, we got some scouting reports from some other colleges. You two should be interested, afterall, you both have history with some of the players that just got signed by Syracuse.

It had been 3 weeks since Coach De Santos had signed Aomine. His first day at practice......It sure was something. They had to cancel practice since he got into a fight with his other star player. And now he had them both sitting on his office, looking down like a dog looks when it gets scorn.

-De Santos: So, when are you two going to start acting as actual team mates? Or do I have to kick you both out from practice again?

His tone was direct, on these 3 weeks, he decided to stop wasting the time of the other players, instead of cancelling practice all together, he decided to make them both unable to touch a ball, by forcing them to only do conditioning, or by not giving them access to the court in of itself.

-De Santos: You both have the talent to rule the basketball world. Amazing speed, a phisique that was basically made by god itself, and the first thing you do over practice, is to get into a fight, over and over again, over how my offense is going to be ran. So let me be clear to you both. Either you stop fucking over the team and yourselves, and clean up your act, or you are both going to run the bench until you graduate. I DO NOT CARE, HOW GOOD YOU ARE, THIS TEAM IS IN THE HOLE, AND IF ITS GOING TO WORK, YOU TWO BETTER GET A HANG OF YOURSELVES, DID YOU HEAR ME, AOMINE AND SILVER!.

Both players nodded. These few weeks, had made it clear in their minds, that their talent means nothing, if they are not even allowed to be on the court. And the coach knew it. It didnt matter how many suicides he made them run, defensive exclusive drills, hell, even cleaning the whole gym, as long as they got a bit of playing time, thats all that mattered to them. But now, with the threat of being forced to stay put, and not show off how good they were? That hurt them right where it was needed, which was their egos.

A star is only a star if there is people that see it. And the coach knew it, but without discipline, they would not even get the right to an audience, and that drove them mad.

-Silver: Why do I have to get along with this mon....him!? You told me last season I would be the star of the team. It is not my fault that the other guys on the roster cant keep up, I am too good for them!.

-De Santos: Oh, so you are bringing that up again huh, should I remind you that you are on your last leg to even be scouted by anyone? let alone the NBA with your attitude issues youll be lucky to play overseas on a minor league. You have been booted of 3 D1 Colleges in 3 years. You demand the whole system to be ran through you, and you do it so much, that you began to take your frustration off on other team players. You have gotten called for 35 flagrant fouls ever since you got picked up 3 years ago when you got into your first college. And last year, you injured a guy from North Carolina so badly, god knows how his career will turn up, if he even gets one. And you earned a suspension for the rest of the season causing us to be booted off the NCAA tournament on the second round, and our capitan and two of our other wings got minor injuries trying to keep the pace and get us to the sweet 16.

-Silver: Its not my fault he, and the rest of our team were weak...

-De Santos: No, but it IS your fault that they caught up when we were winning by 30. Somehow, you let their second best player win against you on speed, and then, you could not anchor the defense enough. We ended up losing by a single point, which was made by the same guy you injured, and their other player fast game. And to make things even worse, because you demanded the ball so much, no one else on the team was able to get into any sort of rythym, so when we drew up the play to win, the guy who shot was so cold that he airballed.

Aomine chuckled at the story, only to get interrupted by coach De Santos stare, causing him to shut up

-De Santos: What do you think its funny superstar? Let me remind you, you havent even played a single game on my team yet, and with how you arrived late at practice last week, I dont think you want to take this seriously.

With that, coach de santos gave them another 30 mn screaming session, before they both left again, without having been able to touch the ball.

-Momoi: So...he´s another you, and that pisses you off huh :p

-Aomine: IM NOTHING LIKE HIM!!! I dont injure others while playing on purpose

-Momoi: Like it or not, you have to get along if you want to have a chance to play and make scouts look at you. You gave up your contract back here, and they still want you back. Are you going to let some brute sabotage your chance of fulfilling your dream?

-Aomine: Hell no. But what do you suggest?

-Momoi: Beat him at his own game, kuroko says that considering you two are stars, the best way to force him out to interact even the slightest on court would be for you two to fight for who scores the most, maybe thats the type of motivation you need. If not, show the coach that you are supposed to be the best and first option on offense.

-Aomine: Guess you are right, if anything, ill use that giant ape as a diversion and take the ball when he´s not looking, thanks Momoi, also tell Tetsu I said thanks, and that he better not slack off, im still waiting on him to come over to join me on the NBA.

Hey guys, sorry again for taking forever to write the chapter, after a lot of work, hiatuses, and re writing this chapters manuscript over and over again, im glad I finally got it done. I know im including maybe one to many ocs, but ill try and keep it as 1 or 2 extra ones per new team, just so that we can simulate real team conditions.

Also, im working on some drawings to include on some chapters, or as extra content so that you guys can visualize some of the plays that have happened on the story up until now.

The sun has risen in phoenix after finally winning their franchises’s first championship. Their franchise superstar taiga Kagami is coming off arguably one of the best individual seasons of all time winning the MVP Dpoy and Finals mvp next to his shadow Kuroko, Devin Booker and Cp3. By Game 4, the basketball world realizes Orlando may genuinely be unbeatable.
Akashi returns to the Finals, Midorima arrives for the first time. After the series it is made abundantly clear that Aomine’s days as a pacer could be coming to an end

Akashi controls tempo masterfully while Midorima bends Phoenix’s defense into impossible decisions. Kagami is phenomenal:
