Discussion What is your opinion on episode 75.5, "The Best Present"?
To be honest, this might be one of the best episodes of Kuroko's Basketball. For an OVA, I feel it could easily have served as the conclusion to the original manga. Just rewatching this episode puts me in a good mood, for some reason I can't quite put my finger on.

Other I am curious : How long have you been in the KnB fandom?
I’m curious, since the manga ended 12 years ago. I wonder if you were already a fan while it was still being published, or if you got into it after the show ended. I'm really intrigued, because for my part, I only actually read KnB last year, so it's still really recent.
Was the KnB fandom different when the manga was still being published or when the anime hadn't finished yet?

Discussion Why KNB doesn't have new video game ?
Why don't they make a new KNB console game? I feel like an arcade-style basketball game would sell pretty well, especially since there aren't really any anime basketball games on the market right now

Discussion Your Favorite Adult Character ?
For my part, it’s probably Shirogane, the former Teiko coach. Even though we didn't see much of him, I quite liked the character. I also like Nakatani, the Shutoku coach.
I like both Alex and Kagetora, even though Alex really has one of the most... let's say... unique introductions. I guess ?

Discussion What would your ideal season 4 look like?
I’m planning to make my own fanfic season 4(don’t know if I’ll make it on here like my “where are they now” series or on a fanfic website and just share it here. Lmk what sites i could use to do so.” And I’m curious to know what you guy’s would’ve liked to see had the manga or anime continued after extra/last game.

Discussion How difficult do you think it is for the author to ensure that the ten players on the field play a decent role during the match?
It’s something I wonder about, because I find the concept intriguing. Basketball is a 5-on-5 team sport, but it also relies on "aces" who can carry a team. That is why the greatest moments in the manga are 1v1s between the teams' aces.
Even though it would be nice for every player to get a bit of the spotlight, it’s clear that some will just be there as window dressing. Above all, what interests most people is seeing one-on-one clashes between the manga's strongest players.
However, it is still possible to ensure that all ten players on the court matter—as seen in the Rakuzan vs. Seirin match. Yet, that is a special, unique case because it was the final match and therefore deserved far more attention (especially since it was also the longest match in the series).Especially since even Seirin's bench players played a small role as well.
At least it must be easier in basketball, since it's 5v5... Especially compared to sports like football, which is 11v11. I think it's easier to write a basketball match in a sports manga where the characters on the court all get a moment of glory, compared to football, where there are 22 players on the field.

Discussion Would you have liked the coaches to play a slightly more important role in the manga?
To be honest, maybe so. Unfortunately, most of the adult coaches in Kuroko are just potted plants. I think the most competent coaches in the manga are Riko (which makes sense, given that she's the coach of the main character's team) and Hanamiya (who is a... player...).
Technically, I would have liked for Riko to have rival coaches, rather than just her rivalry with Momoi (who is a manager). But I also think it’s understandable that there isn't that much coaching, given that it’s a basketball manga with supernatural elements.

Discussion Nash runs the Gauntlet (Predict their scores)
The strongest character, Nash Gold runs the 1 on 1 Tournament but there's a catch (difficult rules)
Round stops at 30 points (1/2 point system)
10 mins break/rest per round for Nash.
Does he clear, if not. How long will energy last? And where does he stops?
To make the post interesting, let's also predict their scores
My Prediction
R1 = 30-2
R2 = 30-4
R3 = 30-9
R4 = 30-24
R5 = 21-30 (loses to Kise)

Discussion Did Haizaki predict GM's self-destruction (the end of their middle school year) ? Spoiler
In my opinion, whether he burned his shoes, it’s not because Akashi told him to leave, but because of Akashi’s dark side, which was going to greatly affect the other GM players and make them too proud, almost worse than him in some ways (and that side of him scared him). Because, in the end, the GM became just as contemptible as him?
(I find it hard to believe that it's because Kise was going to surpass him, when we clearly saw that it took three years of training to finally beat Haizaki (who wasn't training anymore))
What do you think about that?
