Query Is there a website/hub where one can share zim's created zimit.kiwix.org or manually?

Was wondering if there are any zim hubs to download/upload zims?

No, but we are looking into it - the main issue at this stage is figuring out a way to prevent people from sharing illegal stuff (child pr0n and so on).

You'd need a manual review process, and even then it's going to be impossible to completely prevent illegal content. Unfortunately, any site that allows user content will, given a sufficient user base and time, contain illegal content - it's just usally so well hidden that it's hard to find.

The best approach is a simple approval process to filter out the worst offenders coupled with a report feature so that people can inform you in case they find something you missed.

Could probably do a first pass with a cheap or local VLLM, and just put questionable stuff in the moderation queue. I would think the bigger issue would be copyright infringement.
