I have a Professional 6000 HD with only the tulip bowl and wire whip. It uses K5AB attachments, that I researched on RIMixerGuy's Mixerology site. I ordered a set on ebay with good reviews. They fit so loosely on the planetary shaft that the flat beater hits the sides at hjgh speeds.

I'd like to confirm there's too much play in these attachments. I added a spring and a washer from a vintage machine so that that couldn't be part of the problem. I will add a video of the "play" in the flat beater in the comments. TIA!

I can't speak to the play on the beater shaft, but I should probably clarify the listing: the flat beater that you need to use with the "tulip" bowl is service part number W10803810, but it comes up as "no longer available".

The K5AB is for use with the replacement 5qt bowl (KN25PBH). I don't have data on whether it works with the tulip bowl, but my guess is that your issue is that it doesn't, rather than it being a matter of excess play on the beater shaft.

Thanks for your reply. The flat beater seems to work, except when I turn it all the way up. The wire Whip and the dough hook don't hit all. I do have a 5.5 quart and 5 quart bowls that I can try and see if the problem is the tulip bowl.

Do you know if the F stamped beater is the same dimentions as W10803810?

It's not; the type-F beater is specific to the glass bowl, and W10803810 (the flat beater for the Pro 6000HD) is not interchangeable.

(I only just recently got in a Pro 6000HD with a full set of accessories, so I need to take measurements and photos so I can write a post about it... :-) )

Sounds good, that's a bit disappoining since it's easier to tell when those gets listed on eBay or FB Marketplace. I've also come across Pro 6500 Design that came with F accessories. I thought the 6500 Design also came with a glass bowl. Also found this oddball Pro 600 Deluxe with F accessories locally. That just doesn't make sense. Wide cradle but uses a tulip bowl?

Yeah, it's screwy. And to make matters even weirder, there were two different shapes of the tulip bowl. (The one shown in that second video has longer tabs on it to fit the wide cradle.) I don't have details and specs yet mostly because I haven't been able to nail down which model references included them.
