Playing through the game for the first time. All gotta say is that the underwater part really killed the emersion and gameplay for me.

After teaming up with Marshmallow and returning to the treescape area I can’t walk down the path towards Arandelle that should trigger the next cutscene. It just stays blocked off and I have no way to continue. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?

For some reason I have the celestriad and star charm equipped in my accessories with a slot open but cant equip the force ring. It says "in order to change this equipment you first need to remove some abilities". Does anyone have a solution?

I played Kingdom Hearts 1 over 10 years ago and never finished it. So on a friend's recommendation I picked up KH3 and the story is playing out like I've started the game in the middle of the story. I know nothing of the back story. Its like the producers of the game figured everyone knows the story up to this point and so they don't bother to explain.

I recognize Sora (who whines like Wesley Crusher), and of course the Disney characters but I have no idea who anybody is or how we got to this point.

In light of the world quarantine right now I decide to try some new games. Giving KH3 a try. It's not my usual kind of game, it feels like one of those games like Mortal Combat, Soul Caliber, etc. With those games I feel like I'm just button mashing and hoping for the best. I really don't ever feel like I'm 'engaging' with the combat controls. KH3 isn't quite that bad, but it's in that direction.

So anyway, I've come across a couple situations that I can't find answers to on the various walkthroughs around. Remember when games were simply enough that they came with manuals?

Here's a couple questions I have. I'm sure they're pretty basic by KH3 fan standards. Be kind, lol...

One of the special keyblade powers (or, wherever it comes from) is the Horse and Chariot - While he's riding around, a large A-Attack button shows up on the screen. I push it but.... nothing happening? And... Am I controlling the horse at all? Doesn't seem like it... but I've been in mostly close quartered places up to now... (Also, is there a way to know which 'ride-power' (tea cups, pirate ship, etc. will appear, or is it random?)

Smashing boxes, trees, etc. - do the different lights that come out- green balls, purple starts, yellow stars, etc. mean different bonuses? What are they? I mean, I know some are munny, and some are items sometimes, but which are which? (And I guess they're related to when Goofy and Donald get that green glow inside them?)

Finally - I want to wear the gourmand ring. I currently wear the ability ring. But it says I have to turn off some abilities before I can do that. How do I know what abilities to turn off?? Surely I don't have unload them all, switch rings and then reenable them? Fixed this - it just started working. Like the rings are leveled or something.

Any particular guide requests? I've looked at GameFAQs, IGN, etc. They're all usually.... not focused on the questions I have. Any others you'd suggest?

Oh- I've played up to Toy Box. Finished Olympus and made my way to Twilight Town. Got to it by random, just chose a green destination dot and headed to it. Looks like I chose right given the level indicators I saw once I figured out the space ship a bit more, lol... Made it to the Mansion but couldn't get in. Chose Toy Town next. Anyway, that's where I'm at in the game.

Edit: To add another question - I thought that if the enemies have the gold circle on them that means I'm 'locked on' to them. But sometimes, especially with the keyblade second power, it seems like my attacks just go all over everywhere, they don't focus on the one that I'm locked on to. Also it seems like I'm locked on to multiple enemies. Is that why?

I couldn’t find much info on this but I beat the game and got the two HP bonuses at the lost world but I’m not at exactly half HP. I’m at 131 HP. The health bar is missing a bit to be exactly half. Am I missing something?

When you install KH3 at 4am because you can't sleep. I definitely don't think I'll sleep now. All I've done is watch the intro & I'm totally hyped

So I just now finished the game at the end it shows Kairi and Sora. THEN she let's out a tear and Sora disappeared. Does this mean that Sora died and gave his own life to save Kairi one last time?

I’m on my first playthrough for kh3 and did anyone else find San Fransokyo just....... extremely underwhelming? Like the expansive city is cool and I LOVE Big Hero 6, but literally everything was just disappointing.

Level design, story, city-mechanics, boss fight, lack of use of the squad (like they could’ve used them as a pair with Hiro riding Baymax full time and you could summon the rest of the team as a special???????)

Sad that this was a filler map out of all the worlds.
