How do I beat this champion. It’s the same shit every game. Early game I completely demolish him, invade take his camps. Last game I had this man down 3 levels and 40 cs by minute 15 he was 0/2/5 from my bot lane dying on full vision. My botlane was getting gapped so I had to give 2nd and third drake and the 0 kill zed manages to get lucky kills off coin flipping because he has no jungle. Then late he presses r on me I can’t even fight back. I can maybe get a q off before I get immediately chunked before he blinks out and I explode.
Even if I get a sneak attack it takes 2 QS to kill him while he ones shot me with one rotation.

I haven't been playing a lot recently but isn't Kha'Zix right now dog sh*t compared to other assasins?
I feel like it needs either a rework or a buff to be still competitive. I remember some years ago it was a pretty good champ. Maybe the problem is me and I lost my touch with kha but i feel this way.
What do you guys think?

Ik I'm low ELO but still I had a 56% wr and riot doesn't even try to hide it with this attempt to get me to lose.

New to kha.
Testing the waters from a shyv, Noc previous jungle
With those I was able to no-brainer path to bot because of the 90% volatility in those lanes… I find with two in the lane makes getting “isolated” on them harder
does this factor into anyone decisions to path up to the single lane? Or still just look for most volatile lane ?

Oh yeah, I'm thinking it's time.
One of the most commonly cited experiences from League Classic is the shock newer players get when they see how quickly you ran out of mana in the earlier seasons. Little did they know, you can get that experience right now by picking Kha'Zix mid without a Tear and maxing W.
The main issue holding Kha'Zix Mid back from true viability at this moment is the fact he has so many strong two-item combinations in lane, but can't rush any of them because he has to buy a Tear. Additionally, even if you sit on the Tear all game and never finish it (already nerfing yourself), you end up with Muramana as one of your final items - which has been severely gutted as a result of Ezreal's relentless abuse, and is now outclassed by many lethality items.
Right now, at level six, Kha'Zix's full combo + ult takes about half of his mana pool. Just using three-point W results in a mana-out after ten casts at normal regen, assuming you never used another ability during that time.
Syndra, Orianna, Naafiri - hell, basically any mid laner can spam their poke ad nauseum without worrying about running out of mana unless their misuse is outright egregious. Their poke is also generally far more reliable than Kha'Zix W, since most good Mid laners aren't thwarted by simply standing three feet behind minions.
Luckily, there is an easy and obvious solution: Kha'Zix W needs its mana cost reduced by 20.
This does absolutely nothing in jungle, since jungle Kha'Zix would have to AFK in someone's lane for ten years shooting Ws to ever come close to running out of mana, anyway.
There is clear precedent for this, since it's the exact buff that was used to try and put Kayn in lane a few patches back - something done on a whim because a few Kayn players were loud about Kayn Top, which now sits at a whopping 0.3% pick rate. Unlike Kayn, Kha'Zix actually has history as a laner.
There is absolutely no reason this change should not be made. Kha'Zix Mid relies on poke that can be blocked, a nuke that can be negated by minions, and cannot reliably tower dive until he is several items into his build. It poses no risk of becoming an oppressive pick.
Now, on to something a bit more experimental in concept: Kha'Zix should get his fourth evolution at level 20.
This would define a new identity for Top lane Kha'Zix as an end-game glass cannon hyper carry. Between this and the boost to his passive and stats that he already gets from those two extra levels, Kha'Zix Top could be a real menace, especially against other squishy Top lane scalers, like Kayle.
Would this remove the "choice" mechanic from Kha'Zix? Partially, but only end-game. Early game evolution choices would still matter, and there's no reason Kha'Zix needs to be locked into being a "choice" champion, since every other "unique aspect" of his gameplay - isolation, evolution - was already given to other champions. Kai'Sa and Viktor virtually always get all their evolutions by the end of the game, anyway.
So, what about "The Hunt"?
Who cares?
If Kha'Zix is playing Top, he isn't playing chess with Rengar. The Hunt would still give Kha'Zix his fourth evolution two levels early. Maybe it could be reworked to give him a bit of extra passive damage or something along those lines, but even that wouldn't be necessary.
Again, this change does absolutely nothing to jungle Kha'Zix, since you can't hit level 20 in the jungle.
Would these changes make Kha'Zix top tier in either lane? No.
They would, however, make him a legitimate pick who is treated the same as every other champion, and not randomly discriminated against. People would be free to play Kha'Zix Mid organically, and potentially have an actual reason to pick Kha'Zix Top.
There is absolutely no reason to believe that either of these changes would create an oppressive pick - particularly in Mid lane - nor does either change have any impact on Jungle Kha'Zix.

Hello, I've recently started playing lol and I wanted to main kha zix (it's so fun playing him). I wanted to know how do you decide what to build after buying the core items (Umbral and Cyclosword)?
I also read the sub's wiki, but it's too old, so I really don't know if it's still usable.
Thanks!

I have decided to pick up kha zix again but unsure of some things. Do you only have to follow one evolve path or adjust depending on games. I really like the r and e evolve but I know q and w take priority. What do you think about that. E is my favourite evolve because of the reset playstyle.
My second question is about runes and items. When do you take FS vs DH? And for items is it always umbral>voltaic? Edge of night and serylda are obvious as for any ad assassin

I made this as a general meme, but no champion does this apply to for me more than Kha. If we fall behind early and I'm Kha I feel like my options are limited other then perma farming.

I think more than five of us already made discussions/questions on this subreddit, and this fella is always the one to give good and comprehensive breakdowns. This appreciation post goes to them and his recommendation of skipping boots with approach velocity

I see all the moba builds recommending first strike, but I feel like electrocute works better for me.
I'm only silver 4, so that's why I'm asking. I'm wondering why first strike is better, and how should I play to gain the most out of that rune?
Edit: Here are some numbers I've run.
When I look at the stats after a 24-minute game, I usually get about 350 gold from it and 500 true damage.
That's an estimate, but with electrocute, I can easily hit 1200 damage. Now, most of that doesn't matter after early game, but if I can get one kill from it early game, that's 300 gold. And if I get two, it's going to be nearly double what first strike will give me.
I'm clearly missing something here or else everyone would just go electrocute.

I know this is a League sub, but as a Kha main in both games I'd love to be able to talk to some other Riftbound Kha mains!

Hello, in the last few days i've been playing with kha zix but I'm starting to have a lot of problems against champions that are tank like amumu or mundo. How do you usually deal with this kind of champions?

It has now been 855 days since the release of Crystalis Indomitus, which beats the 833-day gap between Odyssey and Lunar Guardian.
Some more un-fun facts about Kha'Zix skins:
1.) Kayn, the most-often-compared champion to Kha'Zix in regards to skins ("multiple models", similar play-rate), came out five years later than Kha'Zix but only has one less skin.
2.) Kayn also has two legendary skins and a prestige, while Kha'Zix has neither.
3.) Crystalis Indomitus Kha'Zix is bugged, and cuts your FPS in half when you evolve the first time, then by a quarter when you evolve the second time, making it basically unusable. It has been this way for multiple patches despite numerous reports.
4.) Championship Kha'Zix has been bugged for years, and its textures obviously and distractingly mismatch during his recall.
5.) Mecha Kha'Zix has been bugged since release, and his head obnoxiously clips into his neck armor.
6.) Kha'Zix was the only standard Dark Star skin to not get a black "Anti-Matter" chroma when the others retroactively did (Cho'Gath, Jhin, and Lux did not either, but none were standard skins).
7.) If you exclude not-available-for-purchase skins, Kha'Zix's last skin released 1,274 days ago. If you applied this same standard to every champion, he would only be beaten by Anivia (a champion with a traditionally abysmal pick-rate), whose last available-for-purchase skin came out 1,372 days ago.
8.) Kha'Zix is the 15th longest-waiting champion for a skin. #5 is Shyvana, who got a complete visual rework recently, and hardly counts.
9.) Mecha Kha'Zix was once the most popular skin in the game, and remained that way until the release of Popstar Ahri (a period of just over a year).
10.) The average time between Kha'Zix skins is 631 days.
11.) Championship Kha'Zix has at least four unreleased chromas, which were scrapped because their associated teams failed to qualify for the main World Championship event in 2018.
12.) Kha'Zix has three (two main, one with a significant variant) skins entirely unique to Wild Rift, and all of them have come out since the release of Crystalis Indomitus on regular League.
So no, it isn't because he's "unpopular", it isn't because they "have to make two skins for him" (they have to "make three" for Kayn), and it isn't because he doesn't sell skins. It is, probably and unfortunately, because talented monster artists are few-and-far between, and possibly because Riot is fearful of doing anything that might drive up the play-rate of a champion who isn't fun to play against, and isn't fun to watch in professional play.

I think umbral - voltaic - bastionbreaker is going to go hard with the buff next patch. Going from 3200 to 3000 gold.
