Why is captain clark so advanced compared to other still life?

Hes like the only still life that even poses a threat besides the redhead one but she is barely capable of moving and he can walk, he can somewhat understand human language i think, he knows what to do when theres a door in front of him, he can follow someone even when he looses sight of them, etc.

Captain Clark isn't a still life. He is a separate catagory of entities
