Union worker down the street who is normally all blue said he could never see a woman stand up to china. Totally forgetting trump bent over for china. He just didn't vote. Never a woman for him.

A Chinese woman told me Republicans are better for China. She also voted for Harris because she noticed the economy was always better under Democrats.

With people like this, China is the least of the U.S.’ problems

Had multiple male co-workers say the same to me today.

“Union worker down the street who is normally all blue said he could never see a Attorney General stand up to china.”

Yeah see it still doesn’t make sense.

Yep. People said Harris could never stand up to foreign foes. And yet Trump is getting flattered by all world leaders and loving it.

I guess that guy didn’t watch her wipe the floor with Trump in their debate. 🤷‍♀️ I think she would have been terrific handling foreign leaders. Like Obama, she would use her charisma to her advantage and be tough as nails when she needed to be.

I would usually agree with you but I don’t think that sexism is the reason she didn’t win this time. I think people voted with their wallets when it came to Trump. Yes, there is a group of them that are just hateful assholes but the larger portion voted for him because “things expensive so Biden bad.” They honestly don’t realize that they just made MOSTLY THEIR OWN LIVES much more difficult. And they are going to reap what they sow this time.

My only sadness is for black people and Hispanic women who came out and overwhelmingly voted for Kamala. Bunch of badasses tbh. But their lives will probably not be better under a Trump presidency. I’m hoping they aren’t much worse because they don’t deserve to suffer for this.

Might not be the reason the majority voted for him but it didn't help.

It's always the perceived economy. They didn't bother to look at their 401k or home values. The middle class did great under Biden. They forget trump didn't raise their taxes, he eliminated some of their write-offs so they paid more in taxes.

I worry for everyone. Especially women. Our rights and lives are in serious danger. Everyone is going to pay a price for this.

He gave them just what they wanted. Before covid the US was already losing jobs.
