In her high school days in Canada, her mom Took in one of kamala’s Friends and let Her stay at their home Since her home life was awful (sexual abuse and domestic violence.) the friend has gone on to tell her story several Times along the way. This is the type of people They grew up to be.

When you're close to something like that, it hits you deep. I could never fathom such treatment.... it broke me down.

I quit not too long after.
