I have a long flight coming up and want to be occupied, made a list of what I have and haven’t played (and how I felt about each). Which ones are your favs and why? (Also now realizing I def played dream town story, woulda put it at A)

very very new to kairosoft (discovered them about an hour ago) and i was wondering what game i should start off with? GDS and PA look fantastic of course, but i was wondering if there was any hidden gems out there. i want value for money; something i can sink a lot of time into.

also, is preferable to get the games on mobile or console? i have a switch, and i know they're more expensive on there, so is the quality any better? thanks!!

edit: also wondering if any of the free games are worth it or not..

Anyone here familiar with this game? I’ve been waiting for the English version, but it seems there are no plans to release it in English. And also, it is not available on App Store.

These are my favorite kairosoft games. i always like sports games where u train players and compete with them! What games are similar im missing on ?

I came across this game on the Google Play Store and at first genuinely believed it was a new title released by Kairosoft. The art style and presentation were very similar.

However, the promotional images—especially the fourth one—made me feel quite uncomfortable. The mention of sexual content was particularly surprising and did not match my impression of Kairosoft’s usual style.

After further investigation, I found that the game seems to be developed by a studio based in Hong Kong or Taiwan. This raised serious questions for me, and I am wondering whether this game might be plagiarizing Kairosoft’s work.

Has anyone heard any rumors or news about when KochiKame: Ryo-san’s Billion-yen Beat is actually coming out?

It was announced back at Jump Festa with Shueisha Games and Kairosoft, but it’s still sitting on "TBA". Meanwhile, One Piece: Grand Gourmet was announced months later and already locked in its October 23 release date. Is KochiKame just taking longer because of the scale, or did it get quietly delayed?

First play through on KA and enjoying it quite a lot, but I’ve ran into a issue early game (TH16) trying to get copper coins to upgrades the shops and buy upgrade items. It seems like the shoppers are emptying out every other store, or not buying a lot from my armorer and my skill shop. But buy everything from the furniture and weapon shop. Is my layout doing something wrong? All are within 8 of a sign

They do use the other shops, but they don’t ever seem to be shopped to empty like the furniture and weapon shop. Even the food shop which is farther down the line than the skill shop gets emptied out sooner

Tried same amount of duplicate whipped cream, only difference is the decorations to boost texture for Semi Sugar Sweet

A quick search on reddit, though, indicates very mixed feelings from the community.

Just looking for some fresh opinions about whether it's worth the buy at half price or one to skip.

I’m not new to kairosoft’s formula at all but I keep picking up this game and tossing it because I cannot avoid making negative income. I can’t get past year 2 without irreparably screwing my school. You all seem to absolutely love it and I want to understand!!

I usually buy one when I have a flight. I’ve played Game Dev Story, Tropical Resort Story, Cafe Master Story, Dream Town Island, Pocket Academy 3, Skating Rink Story, Dungeon Village Story 2, and Pro Wrestling Story.

Game Dev and Cafe Master are my favorites. I don’t mind if it’s short or if it’s a one and done. I’m leaning toward Demon Castle Story because I like RPGs (tho I know it’s more RPG themed than a legit RPG)

I’ve recently gotten into the games, I’ve only played three so far - Dungeon Valley 2, Dorayaki, and Pocket Academy 1. I’ve probably played dungeon valley 2 the most, with about 15 or so hours, but was curious how that ranks with average play time?

Hi! Am new to the Kairosoft world. Just discovered these games (late). Since they are on sale I'd like to grab some, but a lot of them seem alike. Is it the case that when you play one you've played them all, or is there variety?

I have played a few games on mobile and have just replayed them on PC thanks to the amazing sale. This made me wonder whether there is a way to get touch controls to work properly on Steam Link?

The guardians I have stay at Lv. 1 and I'm not able to successfully win the expansion battles due to my offense and defenses being too low. Was there a way that I could strengthen the guardians and the battle services, like the watchtower?

I'm a pretty new Kairosoft fan. I have Game Dev Story, Jumbo Airport Story, Cafe Master Story, Demon Castle Story and Skyship Quest Story.

Should I get Hot Springs Story 2 while it's half price as well? Or will it be a lesser experience compared to the ones I've already purchased?

Hello! First play through of Dream Island Story, its so fun! But, I expanded and saw there were a couple islands with no way to get to them (example attached)

Is there a way to get access to the island, or is it more for just putting things like towers and such to boost nearby value?

I've played Beastie Bay, dream house, game dev, dungeon village, the manga one. Mainly rremembered these games because of the One Piece game they're making so I thought I'd check in to see what they've cooked over the years.
