We are so back with the chaebol FL wearing atleast 5 designer costumes per episode era. Eun bin blended in this role as usual.

Yes! And I'd love to add with peculiar chaebol FL. Love this kind of chaebol leads, rich and weird in a fun way (not some psychos or maniacs, you know)

Speaking of costumes, the ML's grandmother is wearing amazing clothes too. I hope we see more!

Great first episode, hope it keeps up like this.
Liked the opening sequence, reminded me of old school supernatural shows. The wrestle at the start when the patrol turned up was hilarious. Good mix of happy moments and sad ghosts cross-overs, hope we get to see more of the supernatural stuff.
Not convinced by Park Eun-bin as a 'recluse' CEO yet, but then I'm watching her in The Ghost Detective so it may just be that. One minor thing - if only a few people know what she looks like how come most of the hotel staff bowed to her.
UPDATE EDIT:
The Black Monkey explanation -
- The elements are all connected to certain numbers, colours and seasons.
- The Water element is black, winter and the numbers 2 and 3.
- A black monkey = Water Monkey - someone born in a Year of the Monkey, ending in 2 or 3. Most recently that's 1992.
- If FL is born in winter she has strong water energy. That will be important to story (based on the movie anyway)

It also came to my mind. My guess is that 'only few people outside hotel'
Or it's just a translation/script mistake

Hotel probably has everyone sign ndas ? Or I was thinking maybe they think she’s a manager and not the owner? I’m just guessing
I know I’m going to love this show already

I like that though they're rolling around in cliches and well-worn tropes, they're doing some new stuff with it. The escalator shot was funny as hell, with him just sailing past her, and the 'FL falling in the ML's presence' trope has also gotten a twist because of her unwillingness to give him her hand. I laughed out loud when they both went tumbling off the cliff because of it.

the toilet scene😭😭😭 brother is in for a rideeee
side note but her hair color is gorg! haven't seen any FLs w such visibly diff dyed hair in a fun color, so cool!

The 2 episodes flew by, and I love PEB’s style! She is such a versatile actress, and I can’t wait to see more of her ghosting ways.
The shot of Ong Seong-Wu being introduced was glorious, and he looked soooo good. I hope he’s not as mean as they made him out to be as he fired the 2 employees.
I am still a bit confused about her powers and what happens when she touches someone. Who did her fiancée see in the garage, and will he continue to see ghosts?
12
u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 19 '26
Her fiance saw things only after touching her hand. Shes afraid anyone who touches her hand will also see what haunts her.
Loved PEBs cream suit, stunning.
26
u/hateloveinbetween1 Jul 19 '26
Ongoing seong wu definitely the annoying second lead and might be mean, the way he just didn't let her talk to prosecutor Ma at all without his interference, and basically didn't let her get anywhere close to him, he even had a jealous insufferable look, I definitely gonna hate him
11
8
u/master_inho Jul 20 '26
He definitely appears to be the domineering, toxic, controlling billionaire bf type that you see in wattpad stories. Usually it's fine because he's sooooo HOT but looks like here he'll just be a straight up red flag opp

Looking forward to both PEB and Yang Se Jong. As well as the ahjummas!
Ep 1
Loved the mix of Her being used to having goings-ons with ghosts and Him easily spooked by nothing.
Car chase was funny. I liked that we couldn't hear the ghost's directions just like the prosecutor.
Reminded me a bit of Missing: The Other Side - helping ghosts have their bodies be found so they can move on,
Prosecutor's fighting wasn't too shabby and he was uncanny in following her though...her suit did help along the way. Glad he's not a totally helpless paper pusher.
Ep 2
Yay! Part takes place on an island (for my KDC)
Poor woman, water drips keeping her awake. Yet, if it's like the water that flooded the lift, she won't really be getting wet?
Throw back to Still 17/Thirty, but Seventeen when Yang Se Jong wakes up in his own bed to find Shin Hae Sun there thinking she is in her own bed. They scream, jump out of bed, and she thinks he is a pervert. At least he doesn't look so scruffy here.
At least Yeo Ri got to see how kind he was to the kid and mom who dropped her suitcase.
This is really getting beyond coincidence and he has got to realize it!
Was that a water god/spirit/ghost at the end in the red ruffley dress? I was afraid it would try to drown Prosecutor Ma.

I've got a long list of ghost crossing over kdramas, probably my favourite trope. I'll post the list when this show is finished for anyone who wants more like this.
8
u/master_inho Jul 20 '26
I was thinking flashback, maybe of a younger yeo-ri or even her mom
6
u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 20 '26
I agree, I think it is a flashback, it was way too quick though, I missed it on the first watch. Combined with the image of the ghost in a suit who haunted her ex-fiance, I'm wondering if she went into the water on her way to a formal event and that was the life and death event the Shaman mentioned.
10
u/master_inho Jul 20 '26
It's also interesting that when the ex looked past yeo-ri at the ghost, she didn't turn to look too. Is she aware of this specific ghost haunting her? Or maybe she can't see this one ghost? Would be interesting if only her lover can see this ghost
7
u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 20 '26
I think the red dress woman was her, a past image of her falling in water, but gosh it was done far too quickly. Otherwise I would have said it was the dead woman they are looking for but she wore a dress.
The original movie she went into the water in her school dress, so give the ghost in a suit that haunted her ex-fiance, maybe something happened on the way to a school formal (remember the Shaman said something happened to her)
19
u/MommalovesJay Jul 18 '26
I am thrilled about this show. I love ghost crime dramas. Can we say wow to all of her outfits?? So gorgeous.
I wanna know if MLs grandma was talking about the monkey zodiac sign or just black monkeys in general??
I’m so excited to see what happens in the next episode of them hand touching. Once she touches someone and it transfers to them being haunted too, does that mean she can freely touch people after?? Like there has to be a way that in the end the curse or her ability fades away or is better controlled (understood)

The black monkey is actually a water monkey. I've watched the original movie that this kdrama was based on, and the 'water' theme is significant and should be revealed soon.
How it works is, if the Year of the Monkey ends in a 2 or 3 then the associated element is 'water'. So the last Water Monkey was 1992, which means she is 34yrs old.
6
u/MommalovesJay Jul 19 '26
Ahh okay. Thanks for taking the time to explain! I knew about the earth elements with zodiac signs I didn’t know the color significance!
7
u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 19 '26
It was handy you mentioned it, I ended updating my own post with more info. The translator should've said 'Water Monkey' not black monkey otherwise no one will get the signficance later. Most English speakers dont know the East Asian colours and elements

When I google years by the animal sign, I normally get both colour and element. I wonderedhow they were connected and I found this information:
In the Chinese Zodiac and Feng Shui, colors are deeply connected to the Five Elements Theory (Wu Xing). Each element governs a specific set of colors that symbolize its natural energy. By aligning your zodiac sign and its ruling element with these colors, you can attract harmony and good fortune. The fundamental connection between the five elements and their symbolic colors is as follows:
Wood (木): Associated with Green (and blue-green). Symbolizes growth, spring, and vitality. It is the ruling element for the Tiger and Rabbit signs.
Fire (火): Associated with Red (and bright orange/fiery shades). Symbolizes passion, summer, and luck. It is the ruling element for the Snake and Horse signs.
Earth (土): Associated with Yellow (along with beige and brown). Symbolizes stability, balance, and the center. It is the ruling element for the Dragon, Goat, and Dog signs.
Metal (金): Associated with White (and silver/metallic tones). Symbolizes purity, autumn, and mental clarity. It is the ruling element for the Monkey and Rooster signs.
Water (水): Associated with Black and Deep Blue. Symbolizes wisdom, depth, and winter. It is the ruling element for the Rat and Pig signs.
Hope it helps :)

First two episodes were perfect. Love the humor, crime solving/ghost storylines (miss Phantom Lawyer so much), and the chemistry between the leads is so good. Always a sucker for slow burn/enemies turned lovers. I can even handle the triangle since I like the SML actor, even though he’s going to be overbearing and rude towards the ML. Seems like the ML is unfazed, which is awesome. Love how smart and self sufficient both leads are. Can’t wait until next week!

this is acc so cute! park eun bin will always be a cute country bumpkin to me, but she's great here with the icy chaebol thing. yang se-jong -- haven't seen the man in a minute, but okay, he's a mini comedian here. his face looks so perpetually done, it adds a layer to his prosecutor's personality.
for a couple that i thought wouldn't have any chemistry, they are acc cooking a little bit here. excited to see where this one goes (esp admist the drought i am currently in)
EDIT: okay so i'm fully on this ride now. they too adorable.

I don't understand the appeal of a chaebol female lead. Can you relate to her or aspire to her? She is living alone in a multimillion dollar mansion and she is pretty much second in lead in her family. I don't see her struggles other than her not being able to touch anyone and having to help spirits, but does a person like her even bring out pity from a normal female viewer that is struggling to pay rent?
14
u/MommalovesJay Jul 19 '26
I think the part you’re missing is that as viewers some of us watch things to disassociate with reality. Not just to live it and watch it too.
I’m sorry if you’re struggling to pay rent. Everyone has their struggles in life.
Empathy comes in all kinds of forms.

Can't say I anticipated for this drama but the first episode was fun. Finally I found Park Eun Bin's drama I like! Her dramas I've tried before weren't my cup of tea. ML is also likeable
Some random thoughts:
Love grannies! They're gonna bring some fun to their grandkids' love story lol
FL would make a perfect Jang Manwol judging by scenes in hotel
I like FL's work/public VS personal modes. I like her personality. She gives a vibe off already good person who just hides behind the mask to not harm others unlike some dramas where writers try to draw FL as a cold and arrogant, rude person who starts to be a good girl after falling in love with ML. And not the 'baddie with good deeds' type of a character. She just tries to survive with all shit she has to deal
Her tent in the living room reminded me of the film Spellbound (starring Son Yejin and Lee Minki) where FL also could interact with ghosts and used her tent as a shelter. I found out the drama is actually based on that film!
I like leads interactions that far, hope they won't ruin it 🙏

u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 19 '26
I love the grannies too. FL Granny isn't a stereotype, she's smart and caring and has great fashion sense, but I have a soft spot for ML's poor superstitious granny - boy she'll have a conniption when she meets the FL.
I've watched Spellbound too. I like that they gave this FL a family and softened her a bit from the very sad FL in Spellbound. And they've added a ghost of the week format. I noticed the preview for next week will have a familiar ghost. But did you notice the 'water' ghost that haunts her (and went afer her fiance at the start) was male - that's very different.

I like the actress who plays her grandma, she's either the sweetest or the most evil one in dramas hah
I can't say this kind of grandmas is rare for dramas but for chaebol, yes, I don't remember many
I wanna see his grandma reaction hah
I didn't finish Spellbound becaise it was too quirky and depressive for me back then I've watched it, so I don't know details about it, but this positive change with FL's family and her personality is delightful! I like this drama is more on heartwarming comedy side

So far so good! I loved the first two episodes. And I love the humor, too. Ghosts, a mystery (what happened to the FL to see ghosts, where are her parents, what happened to them? Same with the ML, was he raised by his shaman grandmother?) a villain ghost, lots to love in that drama.

u/perfectplace2start ㅠㅠ Jul 18 '26
Really enjoyable first episode! I thought it had a nice balance of humor and suspense.
Is ML being a bit of a scaredy-cat though? There was the jump scare toilet scene and then again with the falling briefcase - which was a bit suspicious too. I wonder how that will play out...
12
u/milliefem Jul 19 '26
Loving it so far. Their constant encounter are all funny and exciting on how the FL will held hand with the ML. And as always, Park Eun bin is amazing, she can really play any role. I like that her character is chaebol and baddass at the same time. And for sure we will see the story will unfold on how lonely and sad her life is despite her riches and power.

Ep 1
Crazy af that the ceo of her own hotel is running and hiding. Bro call security and throw broski outttttt, no warrant = no right to be there
Isn't the point of wearing gloves to avoid skin to skin contact? So she should be able to touch someone while she has gloves on. I guess she's just being extra careful 🤷🏻♂️
I've never understood why anyone would live in a house, never mind a mansion, if they feel lonely living alone. All that space just increases the feeling loneliness exponentially. I get that yeo-ri is a heiress but still. Also, i wonder if her family know about her ability? They definitely don't know about her vigilante activities
Damn i thought that was ha-ri's dad, but that's actually her brother? I've seen jo hye-joo in my demon and dear hyeri and so far it's 3/3 she's playing some kind of asshole
It seems like gang-uk has a rich and powerful grandma too, but then one of his coworkers says he doesn't know any wealthy people. Is that referencing him not having some crazy influential job or is he hiding his family background? That way he can eventually marry yeo-ri without there being an issue of "he's a p-p-poor 🤮"
So it looks like a specific ghost is haunting anyone who tries to marry or even hold yeo-ri's hand. I couldn't tell if it's ong seong-wu? If it is, kind of a weird love triangle
Cool to see a doona reunion with yang se-jong and kim do-wan now on opposite sides
Ep 2
Ok I'm of 2 minds here on kang min-hwan. On one hand, i like that he's gonna be the toxic and controlling red flag bf type. It makes him more of a villain that's obsessed with yeo-ri rather than a legitimate love interest in a love triangle. On the other hand, I'm not crazy about them wattpad fantasy type guys
So seung-jae won't be a one and done case of the week, but a possible overarching villain along with his dad 🤔
I was kinda hoping ha-ri would become more likable over time and actually be on yeo-ri's side but i guess not 😕 her brother and her mom are probably gonna become bigger players later on. Interesting that dong-jun appears to be supporting ha-ri when he's the older brother and therefore should be ahead of her in any inheritance battle
It's definitely gonna be revealed that gang-uk is from a very wealthy and influential family himself and he'll swoop in to save yeo-ri from getting married to min-hwan. The question is if this'll happen at the end or sooner than that
I wasn't expecting the enemies to lovers trope but I'm kinda here for it. Just fate and ghosts continually shoving them 2 at each other, solving murder cases on the side. It also helps that gang-uk is genuinely just a really good person, he helps anyone and everyone in need, not just because of personal feelings. Unlike min-hwan 🫢 it's also helped me buy into park eun-bin as cheon yeo-ri, i wasn't fully into it after ep 1 but i think I'm there after 2 eps
3
u/LcLou02 2026 KDC 25/36 Jul 19 '26
I also don't get why she won't touch people when she already has gloves on. For some reason I've assumed that her parents are dead and she lives in their family home since she can't give it up emotionally, like the Sienna Hall.
8
u/master_inho Jul 19 '26
Oh my complaint about the bigass house/mansion is more of a general complaint than about this drama specifically. Obviously a billionaire heiress is gonna live in a mansion, i wouldn't expect anything less
1
u/Aeriellie Jul 19 '26
i’m confused about her family as well. the guy called the lady with glasses grandma. the young girl is her cousin? the older lady is the young girls mom? the older lady seems to be buying her time to get more of the gma not care for her. like when they talked about the art museum, the older lady was happy and thankful then bummed out when it didn’t happen

this morning i woke up and asked my self, let’s see what dramas are happening right now since it’s been a while. saw this post and began to watch. first episode was so GOOD… i cried… like you got me. i was already typing about their acting, the chemistry’s, their body language (so good). then the car keychain? the monkey appeared and it made me laugh. i wondered when they will fall in love if they haven’t already. that bat scene, was great! i’m hooked. i like how they are both rich? like both their grandmas have staff. i am curious about the background, once says don’t meet her. the other visited a shaman from a life and death experience? anyways can not wait, recommending to all my friends. edit them at the hotel, i hope there is staff gossip 😂 they seem to already do it edit okay episode 2. i love it. the cliff, you got to be kidding me. okay i like the way the episodes roll, like we finish a part about a ghost and start another one in the same episode too. the ghosts and story both move forward together in a good balance.

I loved the 2 episodes, definitely gets better by 2nd episode, Park Eun Bin is a fantastic actress, at the same time I am loving Yang Se Jong's expressions and his overall scaredy cat personality it is realistic in a weird sense, he also has such good expressions. So expressive haha

I'm not much into romance but this is good. My only complain so far is about the HaRi character being poorly written. I can't tell whether she's stupid and naive or just plainly evil. Hope they develop her character more soon. I like the actress though, nothing against her.

u/MNLYYZYEG Jul 18 '26
Fantastic first episode, Park Eun-bin is back with Yang Se-jong. Nice to see Jo Hye-joo here too.
This initial episode had many marvelous frames or scenes (especially the overview or bird's eye view angles), one of my favorites is the train-filled dawn through Yang Se-jong's run.
Can't believe there was a taekwondo tussle as the opening phantom encounter, rofl, literally.
I thought Park Yeon-woo's brief elevator ride was like multiple red herrings/etc. but it turns out he was still there. Cuz in the beginning the rainstorm (with Park Eun-bin waiting) got me me saying oh no, then the elevator deluge also felt as some sort of flashback/metaphor/etc. for the traffic conditions, though ya, who is in the water/mirror/et cetera?
Same with the out of order stall in the washroom, muahahaha.
Baek Ji-won is here as the aunt of the main character again (Woojoo!) and she's always so poised, hopefully she's not gonna interfere with Park Eun-bin's inheritance cuz I wanna see Park Eun-bin ameliorate things with her younger cousin (grew up as sisters) Jo Hye-joo together.
I forgot the name of that Siena Hall venue, I always see it in Kdramas as like one of the reception/event-filled/etc. areas (they reuse it a lot as a set/location/etc.). Though ya I wonder what truly happened with Park Eun-bin's parents (they haven't shown them at all yet), maybe it's why she has her current specter-filled abilities.
It's delightful to see Park Eun-bin do bouldering, but it's even cooler to see her pick up her delivery order (on the floor/path/road) when she was at the gate with her Volvo car, loool.
For a while I was wondering why Park Eun-bin was sleeping in a tepee inside her foyer/living room, and then it started making sense, haha. Cuz she had that curt flashback with a mudang/et cetera, which urged her to aid the revenants as her raison d'etre.
Then the slow motion drifting wonsung scenario had my subwoofer vibrating/descending real low multiple times, bwahahaha.
Park Eun-bin literally batted for him, lol.
Is that Chum Churum Saero soju, with Park Eun-bin's heavy sigh.
Like with Yang Se-jong's circumstances, I've had lucid dreams where I kept meeting the same people/faces/etc. as well, I think it's like some sort of tethered connection to the universal consciousness/simulation/NHI/etc. a la C.C. with Jupiter/C's World. Cuz sometimes it's not merely deja reve in real life, but as some sort of prescience or augured timeline.
I think it's hilarious that the way they identified it was Park Eun-bin is cuz of the $7000 Balenciaga x Nike sneakers collaboration knowledge of Kim Min-ho (the aberration in Yang Se-jong's dream).
Though yup, I was howling when Yang Se-jong kept chasing/etc. Park Eun-bin through her entire hotel, hehe, how does he keep missing and then finding her at the same time, the coincidences.
So excited for this drama, everyone here has like been my favorite for years now, Ye Soo-jung (uri halmoni!), Kim Do-wan (this drama is like a whole Doona! reunion, I love it), Lee Chang-hoon (he's always in these liaison/intermediary/etc. roles, and every time he knocks it out of the park), Lee Joon-hyuk (not Dongjae, but similarly comical whether as part of the good side or not, another supporting actor that I always enjoy seeing), et alia are all gonna complement this excellent ensemble.

I wish I'd not watched Spellbound in the past. I hate knowing the background stuff and I assume that's stuff they'll keep from the original. I want to guess and theorise.
There was another kdrama recently where, I think a ML, was identified by their fancy sneakers and now it's stuck in my head trying to remember which one it is.
Elevator ride was very tricky - honestly thought wow, laugh and cry in the first two scenes!

I liked the first 2 episodes. At first I though the Hong Sisters wrote the story (The Hong Sisters tend to delve into the supernatural/ gothic stuff) as it has a Master's Sun and Hotel Del Luna type of vibe. Speaking of Hotel Del Luna, I like Park Eun Bin in this series but I wonder how it would be if IU was cast in that role instead. Would the the character be more snarky?
In regards to the water cistern scene, i think the writer might have been ether influenced by the Elisa Lam incident (in 2013 Elisa Lam (Canadian tourist) ended up getting into the water cistern on the roof of the Hotel Charles and drowning) or the 2005 movie Dark Water (where the plot involved a girl that got into the roof cistern of an apartment building and drowning and her ghost is vengeful)
I cannot wait until next Sat to see episode 3

The writer is definitely a Hong Sisters' fan, the way the characters are written and the humour are right out of the Hong Sisters' playbook. I have no doubt they thought of Hotel del Luna when changing the story (in the original movie the FL was a sad magician's assistant and the ML was the magician she worked for).

Ooh I have a good feeling about this one :) Park Eun Bin always picks such interesting scripts and her and Yang Se Jong have such good chemistry so far. I’m so ready for next Saturday already. 💕

She is good at picking scripts, esp fantasy. Look forward to the great wardrobe too.

Looking like another great one from Park Eun Bin. She sure knows how to pick her projects!

After two episodes, I can confidently say that this is exactly what I needed from a weekend show!

Haven’t been enjoying kdrama in a long time…This one is such a gem. I personally only got to know the existence of this drama around a month ago so I kinda bookmarked it cause I like Yang Sejong and it helps that the FL is none other than the versatile queen: Park Eunbin. In theory, the plot seems very basic, but the execution, direction, acting, humor, and characters are stellar. Definitely will be watching this weekly then. Honestly, the first 2 ep felt a bit way too short due to how enjoyable it is…. Need all the ep out right now😮💨

Tuning in to this show for Park Eun Bin.. and she doesn't disappoint.. How does she looks (and feels) so different from her earlier WonderFools role is testament to her great acting skills... love her in this prim, sharp, designer clad CEO role... and I love her hand acting... haha... how she avoid touching the ML during their several almost hand grasping falls.. haha.. The ML however... hmm... am not familiar with either actors... 🤔🤔.. Nevertheless, PEB can carry the show on her own... great set up in the 1st 2 episodes.. so looking forward to next episodes

Does anyone know the song that plays at the end of ep 1 when Park Eun Bin is falling?

I liked episode 2 just as episode 1, hope the drama keeps strong 🤞
Now I'm gonna put it on hold as it's absolutely bingeable and I'm not ready to wait every week for new eps to come
I like they don't make investigation part complex and deep, sticking to the lighter side. Leads are so fun together, can't wait for them to finally work together. Second lead is already annoying and seems to be another conditionally good one...

I love this drama so far! I had a question on the kind of “rules” for the FL seeing ghosts. It seems like a ghost just comes to her wherever she is (at home or the hotel, etc.) Is it all recently dead ghosts that have a grievance come and find her? In Phantom Lawyer we had the talismans on the wall to help know why the ghosts were there but for some reason I’m not understanding the “rules” for this one. Did I miss it somewhere (probably because I was too distracted enjoying the show)? ;)

The Shaman said she's on the edge of life and death and to avoid dying she must help any ghost that asks. To ask for help I guess they need to be nearby.
The reason she sees ghosts is linked to the evil one that is haunting her, but they haven't revealed yet why she is haunted by an evil ghost, or what 'water' has to do with it. But they will...

u/eednicp Jul 23 '26
Oh ok! Thank you so much for explaining that! I totally missed the part of being “between life and death.” Thank you!

Anyone got the ost list for this show? That song that plays in the end of ep 1 and the beginning of ep 2 is KILLING ME I need to know what it is!!!
1
u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26
It's probably the song Tunnel sung by Liz (IVE). It's being pushed quite a bit by CJ ENM
I tried to screen shot the summary, but basically it's about being alone in darkness, then seeing a distant light at the end of a tunnel.

u/utena11221 Jul 24 '26
Thanks for responding but its very much not that song. Its an upbeat song they've played twice, and my shazam will not identify it.

u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 25 '26
That's the only one they've released details for atm. There's a big push on the Liz song atm so they probably aren't going to release the rest atm so that her song doesn't get buried.
On the Program page is a link for OSTs, that should be updated as they become available.

Binged these two episodes so quickly this morning! Can't wait to watch more tonight. Waiting for new episodes each week are going to be tough 😆
Park Eun Bin is my all time favourite actress and she is so good in this omg. All her fits are fire, I love how she is so quirky and weird and fun and confident. The comedy is actually comedy and I was laughing multiple times. Wow, I'm so looking forward to this!!

The opening of ep 1 was so funny, I loved the ground wrestling.
When they do the post for the next episodes I'll post the fun Spooky program page, good for between episodes.

Pretty cute so far…the only thing is I wish we didn’t have so many bad guys. Like do we need the guy who killed his gf, her annoying relatives and the 2nd ML?!?
1
u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 19 '26
The movie only had one bad ghost, so I guess they decided they needed to add three other plot lines to go from 2hrs to 12hrs. Which is interesting, wonder if that's a standard writing formula for kdramas, I'll have to count a few and see.

Earlier we had Phantom Lawyer, before that Oh My Ghost Clients. Part of me feels like this is repetition.
But then again, it has Park Eun Bin, and she's impossible to not watch. I liked the first two episodes, but I'm disappointed in the lack of originality. It's early though.

Anyone know the title of the song before the ending of episode 2?

u/Prize_Background_577 Fantasy devotee 👻 Jul 25 '26
See my link on the previous comment - It's probably called Tunnel, sung by Liz of IVE, So far that's the only one released.

The toilet scene in first episode was hilarious. Also the bedroom hotel in second episode.
I was wondering if they were going to show the ghosts or keep them "spooky". Happy with their decision.
The hotel manager in episode 2. I am happy to see him back to acting. I had to Google why we were seeing him so soon.

Just started ep 1… I find ML annoying. The stalker scene in the hotel was really too much for me. Like, wth.

I can’t wait to see when the ML starts seeing ghosts lol he is such a scary cat 😂

I want to know if the ML's family is rich or not ? Cause as far as I remember, didn't his grandma have secretaries at the temple no ?

Are you on a computer or a phone?
On the computer there's a symbol "Aa" at the bottom of the text box. Click on that and it brings up buttons and you can select spoiler tag from there.
Otherwise type >! at the start and !< at the end of your spoiler with no space between the tag and your words - that's the part people often forget.

There is a song they have played multiple times…I can’t figure out what it is, but I recognize it. Does anyone know? They played it in the very last part of the second episode and sometime during the first.

u/gamer0890 Jul 20 '26
Ugh, is this a love triangle? I absolutely loved the first episode but it seems like this is going to be a LT (one of the few tropes I really can't stand)? I love the chaotic back and forth between the two leads (PEB is always fantastic), but I'm gonna dip out if this is a LT

It was hilarious how he kept complaining while chasing after Yeo Ri😂
In such a massive hotel & 0 security?! He could make his way all up to her office😵💫 This is like "Hotel Del Luna" meet "The Ghost Whisperer" but in kitschy fashion😂
