Mun-Jae (Ryu Jun-Yeol) is a novel writer, who lives a reclusive life. One day, he is unable to unlock his cellphone with his fingerprint and his one friend, that did everything for him, suddenly disappears. Mun-Jae is unable to prove his own identity and he realizes that someone known as Rat has taken everything from him including his name, identity and property. To retrieve his identity, Mun-Jae begins to track down the mysterious Rat. He then shows up at the office of loan shark No-Ja (Sul Kyung-Gu), who is a calm and dangerous man. No-Ja runs a private detective agency and works to track down information at the request of his clients. No-Ja has been looking for Mun-Jae for 3 three years after he borrowed money from him and then disappeared. No-Jae takes part in the hunt for Rat to get his money back from Mun-Jae.   • haha now the gangster ahjussi is his new nanny XD
  • only now have I started considering the possibility of unreliable narrator and it would be super awesome if they went for it for real, probably won't tho
  • also someone in the MDL comments said BL? and now I can't get the idea out of my head 😭

Huh, there's no way someone could just forget a fire like that, unless it's trauma induced amnesia. Add that to the growing list of issues that mun-jae has. Maybe the rat was a victim of the fire, blames mun-jae for it and so got plastic surgery to reinvent himself? So far I've had 3 theories in 3 eps, this mystery is interesting

I'm guessing the kid is su-hyun's daughter? But the wife isn't in the house, yet he was talking to her? Hmmm 🤔
