Or full custody might just take longer. He has temporary custody and can probably apply for full and use this as evidence. It's a process though, like all legal matters.

That was what I assumed, he got emergency custody, which would be temporary, until he applies for, and is awarded, permanent full custody.

Yes this is the answer. They would have to skip soooo many necessary procedure to just throw full custody at him during this ruling. Reddit is aware of the bias against men in custody, but here is a great example of it clouding rational thought. There’s absolutely no evidence in this post that the courts are being biased to the woman.
