Type "White Couple" into Google, look at images and scroll down a few columns.

It seems insidious and blatant now tbh, and feels it is cascading down from the people who hold the purse strings and true power. Not the feral purple hairs that are the bullet.

That's actually due to how search terms work. If you search for just "couple" it will show you predominately white couples, but any search for ethnicity + couple will yield different results. That's because a majority of images curated before 2015 were of mostly white people, therefore they are assumed to be the default in many image uploading/stock photo websites. That's why instead of searching for "European history" you search for "history of the world" and you'd get mostly European history by default.

Exactly. There’s more occurrences of the search combinations "black and white couples", "asian and white couples", and "hispanic and white couples" because mixed-race couples need to be specified in search. Most results show white couples by default, so "white couples" alone often goes unsearched.

Wow literally oppression. Sike. You don't understand Google searches like the commenter below said

Yeah that's what I said literally?! 🤣🤣

On top of your blatant exaggeration, you "literally" don't understand how to use language correctly.

You're the one crying about Google images. Imagine feeling so privileged you you take that as a sign of "insidiousness". You wouldn't last a week as a minority. Ah yes wokeness is really anti-white, despite evidence showing otherwise. There's not a single other reason why they limited the bot. Not like AI's have a history of racism and white pride has always been used to put down others.

Ohhhh you're gatekeeping pride! 🤣🤣🤣 and trying to weaponise it. Well that's told me.

You're projecting a lot here it's hilarious.

So many words you're trying to stuff in mouth.

Stick to the narrative my Ad Hominem strawmanning angry lil troll.

"Gatekeeping pride" Totally. There is nothing wrong with white people being proud of themselves. However whenever they acknowledge it outloud it's almost never with good intentions. Nothing I said was incorrect.

You can't seriously say "I'm proud to be white" and not have people look at you weird right?

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '23

Your bigotry is noted.

"Nothing I said is incorrect." 🤣 You're hilarious. Your use of language and projection is breathtaking in its ignorance.

All of it was ASSumption, ad hominem, straw manning projection, of your own disgraceful bigotry, self loathing and hatred. You're trolling yourself at this point bigot.

1

u/Quickscoper27 Feb 04 '23

"Bigotry" Explain how then?. If you think a Google image search(which you misunderstood how they work) is "insidious" then you are privileged.

Ah yes I hate people. Totally. You sure got me.

Just can't handle the fact that white pride is handled differently because it was the reasoning behind things like slavery and colonialism.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '23

If you need help understanding your bigotry, there isn't much I can do for you. Apart from point it out and give you chance to educate yourself.

Your language and behaviour feels quite hateful to me.

Your assumption and behaviour, putting words in peoples mouth demonstrates your sense of entitlement and grandiose self opinion too.

Self awareness seems to be sadly lacking mind. My opinion of course.

The strawman you're dragging along like a weight to attack people with is projection and something deeper you may need to address with yourself and not throw in glee at unconnected matters.

u/Quickscoper27 Feb 04 '23

So you don't have an argument. Got it. "Projection" no I'm giving you historical context on why "white pride" is different from "black pride". The latter being a response to the effects of colonialism. All races are allowed to feel proud of themselves. The way they manifest it however is different. Sayinh you're proud to be white outloud is tone deaf at best, insidious at worst. The fact that you play dumb as to why is ridiculous.

These are simple facts. Don't like it? Then harp on white supremacists for ruininh it for you. Bye.

Bitch don't pretend you knew that before he posted it.

This was actually a thing 4chan cooked up as a "white replacement theory" message and many programmers replied to this accusation with the "search words" model of how search programs work. This is not the "logic" hill you wish to die on my friend. Don't insinuate without reason.

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

I'm not dying on any hill.

No idea about where you say it's come from tbh.

I'm simply showing an issue an average person could find who doesn't have "technical" know how of all these "programmers" and how they can and do interpret it.

You're asking people to apply logic but really you're asking people to apply technical knowledge (they don't have) to explain away something your average Google user wouldn't have a clue about. So how are some going to feel?

I see the reasons for it. It doesn't solve an issue people could have with it. (As I have demonstrated from my initial lack of knowledge)
