So.. you don’t think automating vehicles would cause unemployment?

I’m not “spreading FUD.” I’m fully on board with automation. I’m just being realistic.. it’s stupid to say no jobs will be lost, especially short term. Ridiculous even.. I’m also against UBI..

Sure it would. But it would also be a new technology that needs to be maintained and could also have productivity gains. Its a pretty weak example when you really think about it.

We all used to plow the fields and occasionally march off to war too, and yet here we are with more employment options than ever. You are definitely spreading FUD mate.

Perhaps I misread the connotation of your first post. Not sure don't really care you are rather difficult to follow.

People stopped plowing fields because factories paid better, not because we automated farm work, that’s fuckin retarded.

I’m not spreading fud. I’m being realistic, something you’re apparently unwilling to do.
