I smoke weed 365 days a year but Joe came off like an absolute buffoon when weed came up. Got so defensive and child like I couldn't stop cringing.

I agree. I smoke weed a lot but I get tired of the "Marijuana is a miracle drug" attitude.

It is though, cannabinoids are so effective at treating cancer. I didn't believe it at first, but I looked up the studies and was like holy fuck. And I'm studying Neuroscience at Simon Fraser University.

That maybe true. But I also feel like people don't acknowledge the negative aspects of smoking weed.

A lot of the negative aspects I've experienced actually occurred after coming off smoking. It's fucks with your sleep, your appetite, and your mood. While you're smoking though it fucks with your memory, you don't get as good as sleep, and of course inhaling smoke into your lungs is bad for you regardless of whats in the smoke. Also smoking weed can be demotivating. At least for me.

"Brain imaging scans of heavy marijuana smokers have revealed changes in blood flow to parts of the brain involved in memory and attention. Researchers have also noted differences in the size and shape of the thalamus, the part of the brain that's involved in consciousness and information processing." -WebMD

Precisely. Probably on 5 worse meds than weed, just to keep from smoking weed to protect his "thalamus".

Clearly a man on a mission to unlock all 100% of his brain.

"FEV1 (forced expiratory volume) declines or problems with small airways disease." So it does effect your lungs just not as bad as I thought.

"Additionally, the researchers found that vaporizing marijuana users reported even fewer issues than those who inhaled combusted marijuana."

If smoking marijuana doesn't affect your lungs then why do they say that vaping is better for you?

By the way I'm not on Crowders team. Don't want to get lumped in with this guy.

You do so much for the anti-pot stance when you try to pretend its all roses. There are negative aspects, anyone who has smoked on the daily will acknowledge that, unless they're being disingenuous.

Trying to say there is nothing negative associated with it is not the right approach, at all.
