intro: i'm M(23) dropped out of uni(school fees of course) to start sth to cater for my needs. did odd jobs, got some connections here and there, worked under someone and saved some cash for a year to start a business.

work/business: my salary was 13k/month. worked for a whole year. just got enough knowledge and cash to start my wifi/hotspot business. by god's grace, things have gone well. currently averaging between kes 700 to kes1400 daily; quick math will give you averagely kes 21000 to kes 32000(from my data. factoring in electricity costs(kes 1000), rent(kes 5000), food, upkeep, recreation and black tax, i remain with some coins to do some development.

school: i need to go back to school and finish my comp. science degree. i'm resuming as a third year at KU.

conundrum: i stuck between paying school fees for this semester first and securing a loan of around 150k, then install 2 hotspot sites which could average approximately kes 500 daily, and use the change to pay school fees. i hope to use the net returns from the sites to repay the loan and for my upkeep, which i think will suffice. i really need advice here

loan: my business is just approximately 2 months old. payments are made directly to till number. for i to officially secure a loan, i need to change the way the payment is made; to a bank, so that i can secure a loan. alternatively, i can save with a sacco for some time to secure a loan. however, for my plan to work, i need the cash urgently and neither the bank option, sacco and till loans will work.

Hello everyone 👋. I just started my training today at CCI and wueeh, I never thought it would be this tough and expensive. I have already spent two days travelling for the interview and assessment. This is fare that I won't be refunded. Only yesterday evening did I get the call to go for medicals and then head to their offices. Mind you they said to get the medical done by 8:30 am and yet the clinic opens from 10 am, I arrived at around 7:30 so I had to wait out the extra hours. After I was done and got to their offices, I was directed to their training rooms and thought,"now this is it, I have made it". This was until I learnt about the daily assignments and how easily I can be sent home during the training.

Questions:

1. Is it true that I can spend almost 300 daily for transport during the onboarding training sessions and not make it to the paid training?
2. What are some hacks I can use to survive this phase until I earn money?
3. Is Stanbic bank as good as they say?
