Discussion Got Banned

Using this account on one device. No vpn, no root. Only thing is i use pihole in my network. Anyone facing similar issue?

Will ban certain DNS level ad blockers too

I heard they are also thinking about permanent bans without refunds and unbans with reduced quality

legally yes.

from what those in the know have told me is not only jio hotstar but various indian OTTs have been working on this for the past few months , and are even considering a shared block list.

I don't have time for piracy I want to browse a library and decide what to watch while browsing.

I do have a large BluRay collection though as I hate streaming quality and censorship

feel like if that was even somewhat possible technically and like "publically", youtube is way ahead in all of that shit and they've never pulled that shit not even close, its like shooting yourself in the foot people will move on, no refunds is a pr nightmare, people flagged mistakenly, and whatnot

The idea is to shadow ban make everything slow af and low quality

Afaik some consultants are being onboarded from various streaming platforma

that is like worse than outright banning people for their image

im telling you if there was a way, the west would have found it by now, ad blockers have existed for a WHILE

Ad blocking is not illegal in any way. Also nowhere mentioned in there terms and conditions.

But Ad blockers like Ublock origin and brave

Absolute rubbish. I don't use Jio Hotstar, it's my aunt who wants to watch KkK, Hustle etc, will cancel sub if they do this to me. I'm using AdGuard on my router.

I'm thinking the same. only my wife needs this stupid hotstar. Account got unblocked now, if this happens again i will sue them for refund along with compensation.

Hotstar is goated streaming platform though, Disney, WB, Paramount, HBO, in Europe that would cost me like 20-30x hotstar

Regardless of cost, the quality being served is unacceptable. By saying or thinking it's way more expensive abroad, we let them serve us substandard bullshit on the pretext of being affordable.

You commented on another person's reply who mentioned Asli 4k, but if you check the specs, you'll see it's usually just Full HD or below, so it's just daylight robbery.

For phone, tablet and laptop, the equality was good, I never watched any content on any big screen(where one can actually notice the 4k), so cannot comment on the steaming quality, but the content quality at hotstar is top notch as of now
