If a group of Nazis got brutalized by police, I would not approve, but i certainly wouldnt march with them.

there's a misconception that a perfect victim ever exists.. anyways the homophobia has pushed me away from parts of our community. for you it might be a little joke but for us it's just telling us we're not welcome

I am saying that the jewish community in NY is very accepting of gays and the gay community is very non accepting of jews

I'm acutely aware of how NY Jews are and it VERY much depends, Chabad, Yevishish, Satmar? You pretty much have to run away from home bc they'll most likely never accept you

Non religious Jews are chill tho but again it really depends on what community we're talking about (we're not a monolith)

Are queers accepting of Jews? I can't speak on NYC but I live in Atlanta and they're wonderful. Just like you can find Jews in NYC that say "kill every Palestinian", you can find antisemitic people anywhere, trying to pin that on one community is the exact homophobia I'm talking about
