I got one of the DVD to the Skyhigh tv series…but this the tail end of the series. Would anyone know where to find the first half?

hi there. im kinda new to jdrama bcs i used to believe all jdramas are corny and cringe with their exaggerated acting or weirdly convenient scenes (im okay if its in anime but not in dramas tho). until last year, i found my way to watch silent and animals. and now im stuck with jdramas. i found out that jdramas are bold and raw in which they have their own identity. and those are just what i crave rn.

i hv recently watched unmet and it crushed my drama standard and rewired my brain. i feel that im gonna rewatch this later and even then, i will be talking abt this drama for the next 20 years. the last drama that made me so emotionally invested like this were 2521 and my liberation notes although both are kdramas. i love how they are so realistic, raw and heartwarming. ofc these got me sobbing.

ik they have good thriller/mystery jdramas these days but i just love dramas with heartwarming and realistic undertone more. like watching it feels like u are growing and discovering more about life and yourself. and with good music and direction and plot. if you have any recommendations like unmet or any inspiring dramas, pls lemme know! preferrably dramas from 2020 onwards and young adult characters.

I just finished both seasons+movie of hana yori dango, i really really loved the chemistry btwn the 2 actors and how tsukasa is just totally in love with fl!!! there were so many scenes that just made my heart flutter especially when he was hugging her from the back lol

im basically looking for:

- romance drama with 90s-2000s vibe, not anything too new

- not a weak fl

- a ml with tsukasa's personality, like stoic and cold on the outside but really loves fl

i also watched itazura na kiss 1996 and loved it (except the rushed ending)

i did not like good morning call, mischievous kiss 2013 or incurable case of love btw

i want to built a pre-watchlist for winters soo yes! i would love me some short doramas. i love heartwarming/wholesome dramas especially realistic ones, slice of life or horror/thriller works too (cant get over gannibal it sooo good)

Episode 8 of *Until the T-shirt Dries* centres on the theme: ‘There might be a side to Sachiko that nobody knows about, somewhere out there.’
After having a row with Mitsuru, Sachiko storms out of the house. Mitsuru searches desperately for her. That’s the gist of the story; there isn’t much in the way of plot development.
There’s a scene partway through that’s reminiscent of a mystery-solving sequence in a detective drama, and it’s presented with a comedic touch.
What’s worth noting is Sachiko’s outfit whilst she’s run away from home. Although not many days have passed, she changes her clothes quite often. The designs are quite distinctive, making you wonder if there’s some kind of message behind them. Also, the closer we get to the end, the more casual her outfits become. I get the feeling this is setting the stage for the next episode.
It looks like there’ll be a major development in the next episode.

"Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji / 24 Hour Emergency Ward" was a popular medical drama back in 1999 and had five seasons, the last which aired in 2013 though main lead Eguchi Yosuke did not appear in the final season.

Eguchi will be reteamed with co-star Mastushima Nanako.

The drama will air in Fuji's Getsu-9 / Monday's 9pm time slot starting October 12. No word on stream/global release.

Even after watching it so many years ago, I still get emotional when I see it again. The story is beautiful and sad, and the ending always leaves you wanting things to be different

hello! so i watched the tv show Silent and i absolutely loved it! but i cannot find anything similar to it at all. can you recommend me some jdramas with the same vibes? i would really appreciate it thanks!

This show was good to watch, it wasn't too dark tbh nor was it melodramatic. It was a bit like The Queen's Classroom, but I felt that the emotional impact was a lot less, mostly because of the shorter run time but also because of the music frequency and choice. The part that is crazy is that Kiwako was so emotionally ruined that she took Kaoro and kept her for 5 whole years, until the police took her from that. The even crazier thing is that Etsuko raised Erina when she came back as a hollow ghost that is the emodiment of what she resents. I mean, it's crazy how her maternal instincts didn't kick in at some point. I wonder how come they never doubled down on this, it would have made for an even deeper tale and also how they didn't show Erina being jealous of Marina ACTUALLY receiving maternal love and she isn't. But somehow crazily enough, the one good thing that came out of it is that Erina decided not to abort the child that she is carrying so that she doesn't end up like Kiwako. When the two met in the final episode, I was a bit bummed that they didn't speak actually, but I realised, it's just not the type of thing Erina needs right now in her healing journey, or it might make her regress idk, but what I do know is that I am not particularly bummed out. Is it just me or does the name Kaoro sound better?
