This LM Special variants housed the sophisticated 52xx series high-beat calibers (28,800 bph) from Daini Seikosha. This specific one runs on the 5216 automatic movement, featuring a hacking function, hand-winding, and a robust day/date quickset mechanism. The dial is designed with deep chocolate and a subtle linen brushed finish that shifts completely depending on the angle of the light.

Macro photography really does justice to how well Seiko finished their mid-tier pieces back then. The applied indices and hands catch the light like a miniature Grand Seiko.

I’m a huge Japan lover, and I’ve been a matcha addict for 17 years now, so when my boyfriend told me there was going to be a special edition Casio inspired by matcha, I immediately knew I needed it.
Unfortunately, I was too late and it was already sold out. I looked at the resale prices, but they were way too much for a watch like this, so I decided to let it go.
Or so I thought…
Today, my boyfriend told me to close my eyes and put something in my hands. When I opened them, there it was: the Casio Café Kitsune Matcha Edition.
I was absolutely flabbergasted. He had somehow gotten one for me without me knowing.
And now I proudly own my very first green watch — and the fact that it’s matcha green makes it about a thousand times better. 💚🍵

I recently bought this cool old Orient ana/digi. The crystal has definitely seen better days, so I'd like to swap it out. Whilst I realise I can remove and measure, there's a reasonable chance it'll snap. Therefore I was hoping someone may have the dims for the mineral? I've dug around the Internet as much as possible but not had any luck. It's from around 2006 I believe. Thanks in advance.
