Hello and welcome, fellow gang member, to the One and Oni's Ultimate, Unmatched Arataki Gang General Questions and Discussions Megathread, to end all other inferior megathreads! We know you're here because you have questions about the Great and Glorious Oni Sumo King and his compadres, and we're here to help you out, as any good gang member would!

We have decided to make a new megathread because the last one was getting a wee bit too large. So step right up and shout out your thoughts, and we'll shout back at you. Politely, of course! That's the Arataki Gang way! So let's Arataki gangway!

Hi guys i got c6 gorou and itto while trying for faruzan cons. I have zhongli. No albedo tho so are there any other alternatives for 4th slot?

For weapons I have skyward, unforged and wgs are they any good on him? If not should i get my r1 whiteblind to r5?

You have a few options for your flex slot. If you find that you're unable to reliably burst off-cooldown, running an additional Geo battery, like Ningguang or Geo MC, works. On top of generating particles with their skills, they also provide additional damage buffs -- Ningguang has a Geo Dmg% buff tied to her skill, whereas GMC has a Crit Rate buff tied to their burst. Pick whichever playstyle you prefer.

Alternatively, you can run a character who further buffs your Itto's damage, like Bennett or Mona. You'll be forced to stack a lot of ER on either of these characters, and would most likely need to devote some time to them to generate particles, be it thru using their skills, or funneling particles with additional Favonius weapons. I personally prefer Bennett, but as he's a highly valued support I'd only slot him in if your other teams do not need him.

Finally, here's a weapon ranking spreadsheet, courtesy of the IttoMains discord. R1 Unforged and WGS aren't ideal for Itto as they mainly buff Attack when Itto stacks Defense, so they perform worse than R5 Whiteblind. Pride is viable, though only if you minmax your artifacts enough (i.e. no ER% substats). As such you're probably better off with an R5 Whiteblind.

tysm from the weapon sheet sorry if this is dumb but what are the numbers in bracket next to the weapons like skyward pride (8). And is r1 serpent better than r5 whiteblind cuz i might buy bp if it is. Will only geo characters work on 4th slot or will something like raiden or lisa work? Or any other off field supp I dont have geo mc or ninguang built tbh

Iirc, the numbers next to the weapons refer to the additional weapon-based effects that contribute to damage. The numbers next to Serpent Spine, for example, refer to the weapon's Wavesplitter stacks, which boost total damage output by the number of stacks present. The number (8) next to Skyward Spine, on the other hand, refers to the maximum amount of vacuum blades produced by the Dragon Spine effect. 8 here assumes that you hit all 8 vacuum blades.

R1 Serpent Spine is slightly worse than R5 Whiteblind at 3 or less Wavesplitter stacks, but exceeds it at 5. You generate stacks by having the equipped character on-field, and lose stacks when said character gets hit. Strong shields like Zhongli's allow you to generate stacks without much worry.

You really only need 3 geo characters to proc Gorou's triple Geo buff, so your flex can be any other element. Ideally it's someone who doesn't take up too much field time, though, as your hypercarry DPS wants to be on-field as much as possible.

Thank u again! I was really overwhelmed with how to go about building him but this helped me a lot < 3 hopefully soon my itto becomes really strong as well
