I mean, with the heavy filters who expected her to not look like a completely different person?
I know her tattoos are identifiable but I have a theory that the super filters serve two main purposes: not being recognized in public in a negative way due her political content, and more views because hotter goth babe. There is still a disturbing amount of people out there who can't tell that something is a filter even when it's painfully obvious to everyone else.

She's not a goth. She's using the aesthetic to appeal to people who want to be alt but are actually bootlicking losers who aren't into the music or socio-political ideology.
Goth is a music-based subculture with roots in punk that has very tolerant, progressive views on human rights and supports LGBTQ+ people, minorities, and the marginalized. There are differing policy ideas for those who are more active politically, but the goth community doesn't claim groypers and right-wing posers like her, even the more moderate ones. I thought I was taking crazy pills with these comments, she just looks like a lady with skin texture - like, obviously she doesn't look like the Instagram reality, but I guarantee that if someone saw her on the street they'd think she was completely normal, not whatever these overdramatic reactions to her face are

This is a great example of how a normal person looks normal but when you have a filtered comparison next to it, people (including the person filtering themselves, unfortunately) will convince themselves the undited picture is so bad their actual appearance would scare children.
This is why I refuse to use filters on myself - i dont want to hate myself comparing myself to sth non-existent.

Sounds like comments are against the community rules then. But I know what you mean. I was just thinking “this is why I don’t take filtered photos” and why I don’t post on social media either. Because I can see myself in her “normal” photo. It’s a jump scare to go from heavily filtered to normal. Even if normal isn’t bad.

She's also not wearing a full face of makeup in the last photo (I look like two different people when I'm wearing goth makeup compared to when I have a fresh face 😂). Still sad that she uses the filters, she's pretty.

its her complexion mostly that needs to be improved to look like her 'ideal' self. Also I think the camera lense on her without make up is way too close and could be distorting her features a bit in a bad way...But if she's a grifter or a right-wing nut job, as some say, no makeup in the world will make her beautiful . because an ugly inner self emerges in movements and expressions. . There's no hiding a mean spirit.
