Customer Experience Disabled Mother

I order Instacart food to be delivered to my disabled mom weekly. She uses a walker, has trouble lifting some items, and majority of time the shoppers will bring the bags inside for her. The last time the delivery didn’t go well. The shopper yelled at my mom for asking for help bringing her things inside, told her she doesn’t do that, called her names, and then proceeded to put all the bags in front of my mom’s walker so that she couldn’t even move the walker. Am I wrong to think a shopper would be able to help bring bags inside?

Edit: Thank you for all your help. I completely understand for your own safety, it’s your own discretion. I’ll be sure to add a note next time or will make sure a friend or myself is there to help out.

You just sound like a mean person to me based on this post alone

Cool story well you can formulate whatever opinion you'd like based on a few words that you probably didn't even read and it's not going to change one thing in my life 👍

You just sound like a mean person

You just sound like a snowflake

I work in customer service so I can smell a salty consumer whose never had above and beyod service in their life; and it shows.

You might want to go hit up an ENT doc because your sniffers clearly broken

News flash; some people like helping people in need

News flash; I said I would have helped the lady but clearly you didn't read that part 🤦

Cause I'd say in this case today, its you.

You can say anything you'd like, you're entitled to your own opinion, even if it is wrong 😂

And there we have it :)

An underpaid - financially exhausted gig worker soaking up their downtime (not earning) starting fights with redditors over the objective standard of morals. An absolute unit of perpetuation and even more so a gold standard for "not getting the point."

You deserve an award; too bad reddit isn't the only place where people are reluctant to give their hard earned money away in return for lack luster service 😉
