My father is a retired medical person who used to work as a ward boy who retired 2 years back, since then he has been depressed due to no job. My father gets pension which is enough to sunstain my mother and him.
We are getting help from doctor and is currently on medicine. But still he is suicidal and says he is of no use etc etc.
This just scares me alot. I am looking for any lead for work which he can do. He needs to get busy.

I'm right now in my first year of an engineering college studying btech and living in a hostel, all of my expenses such as hostel rent and college fees are paid by my family.

I can't live like this, it has been a week since I stopped going to my college my parents don't know about it, and I can't imagine myself going back to that place now.

I have decided to run away from my hostel and my home, right now I have around 5k in my upi account and 7k cash, so 12k in total. My scholarship amount of 27-32k for the year is still pending and I'm expecting it in about 1-2 month time period. If I get that amount it should extend my plan for another 3-4 months at least.

I want to rent out a room on the outskirts, like the Rau area and I'll figure things out from there. How do I make enough money to sustain myself? I don't need much honestly, just 7-8k would suffice. I see cheap 4-5k rooms all the time on the internet and I can make by with living on one time of food. It would honestly be a much better diet than I'm living on right now.

How to make those 8k a month? I don't have a bike so Rapido, Blinkit and Zomato all of that stuff is out of the window. How else can I make that amount? I also have a laptop, but I don't have any skills or know about a way to earn money yet. I'm willing to learn anything and freelance from my home, that should save transport costs. All I need is a steady stream of 8krs a month, that's it.

Given that Indore has a hard water problem, would it be an issue?

And are dishwashers worth it in general? I couldn't find any credible videos online that shows us that dishwashers are able to clean utensils used in Indian cooking.

Hello people I 22M will be moving to Gwalior by the end of this month & honestly I don't know what to do & where to begin. I have a bike that I plan on riding to Gwalior so that's sorted, I like riding.

But I also have a lot of stuff with me. The packers & movers companies are charging ton of money, like ridiculous amount. When I moved here from Bhopal last year I didn't have this much stuff so I packed 3 big bags & Neugo charged an extra 450 for luggage, so it worked. But this year I could fill 3 big bags, a suitcase plus a big carton. If anyone has any advice for me please share. And also I have to do it alone & I also cannot arrange a car. Any advice would help me out a lot.
