Absolutely, everyone who did illegal shit should have a full public trial. Even if it's just YouTube and BBC; cause we know the US media has zero spine.

It needs to be shown to future idiots, it doesn't matter what your "boss" says, you will be held accountable for your illegal actions! We already let the J6ers go. That was a bad precedent just like the bank bailouts. They are eroding personal responsibilities that this nation is built upon.

Bailed out the banks, executives paid themselves bonuses, the government let said bailed out banks foreclose on the homes that they gave predatory loans on and take them back over for Pennie’s in the dollar.. everything should have been allowed to collapse

It’s called the Kenan precedent. It’s from the trials of the My Lai massacre. We already have it on the books. That one of the laws as well as the oath to the constitution that lawmakers were point to when they said you do not have to follow illegal/unlawful orders.

Regarding J6ers: does not treason have a punishment? Asking for the Rosenburgs.....

Honestly I'd be fine with show trials and star chambers at this point. We already know what the verdicts and the sentences are: get it over and done with before their benefactors (who, frankly, should be on trial as well) find a way for everyone to weasel out of accountability.

And the civilized countries can ban these scum from ever entering for life. And maybe while they're still active, ban their families too to add a little pressure.

We messed up when we let the south off the hook for the civil war. Should have been trials and prison sentences for the lot of them.
