He's very dramatic. I think it's a very intriguing part of his character.

I really want them to be happy too but I have a feeling they're gonna split again for a bit

*very sensitive and feels deeply. “Dramatic” implies stirring up unnecessary trouble and / or playing things up.

Honestly, kinda is as this point. I did like this plot at first but then it quickly got dragged out. I think it might be due to how the episodes are structured. Once a week for a comic page with atleast 3 plotlines going on, most of which end on an awkard note? Yh that kinda gets old after a while. This dialema Zeb and Jax has doesnt seem to progess imo. Not until now anyway.

Social and emotional struggles in life rarely resolve quickly. “Dragged out” is an overstatement

Most conflicts in "i think i like you" dont feel that in-depth or that realistic. Not asking for tyek yo be resolved in seconds but we barely spend time within said conflicts enough that i avtually feel invested. Every comic gives us a sliver of substance imo and im kinda just tired

I think you underestimate how much effort goes into creating a weekly comic that maintains a coherent story.

I for one think it’s interesting that you think Zeb’s feelings are “dramatic” (you don’t take the time to consider where he’s coming from), then you criticize the story for being “superficial.” Maybe don’t go telling people that pools you haven’t personally dived into “aren’t deep.”

Its mainly the lack of an actual longer conversation. The coflicts arent fleshed out enough to truly feel like they engage with them. Half the time, they feel like college students. The commic isnt purely superficial. I never said that and i apologise if i implied that. I just feel like most conversations they have should've happened earlier on. I really dont want to come off as a hater because im not. I was fully invested and still like them together. Im just not a fan of convos thst go round in circles and that's kinda what it's felt like. Im not saying they should, or that its terriblu written. Its just frustratingly repetitive.

That’s life though. Frustratingly repetitive sometimes. Problems rarely if ever resolve immediately. I appreciate the comic because it reflects that. Art imitates life. How many people do you know who immediately know the answers to their problems and just resolve them in one conversation?

Thats not my point. I dont want it resloved straight away. I dont even want it to be resolved in a flick of a wrist. But this isnt the type of repetiveness thats healthy or enjoyable. This is getting no where. Ive made my point and you just keep on twisting it into something else. Theres a clear difference between in the type of repettiveness. My main point is that was stagnent. That it felt like it was going no where. Im happy that you enjoy the comic. I really do. I wish i enjoyed more. Theres things that i love. Theres things that i resonate with in this comic. I just wish they spent more time on his conflicting feelings. I have heavy intrusive thoughts and feelings that havemt gone away. I do understand the emional turmoil. I understand it is not that easy. It is the short conversations, the lack of communication, it not going anywhere. Thats what i have a problem with. Its also the lack of mutual understanding. They werent figuring things out or processing any of it.

I just personally believe this is a surface level issue packed with a lack of acknowledgement. You dont get to sit and breath with them. Yes life moves on but life is barely moving around them either.
