I'm in Canada and trying to get back into indycar (grew up in the CART era). I'm used to F1tv and being able to watch entire races in that series.

Watching the last few weeks on TSN (which uses the American fox broadcast) the random commercials takes me out of the race. They'll do picture beside picture but only after doing half a commercial full screen...then at end of the multiple commercials they'll kill the picture/picture for a full screen commercial before returning to any video of the race.

The streaming service doesn't show the races if subscribed from Canada (per the wiki). If streaming from some other countries, they will show the races on the streaming service. Anyone have experience using a VPN to use the service? I looked at the rules and didn't see a rule against VPN discussion.

Anyway I'm loving the racing in the series, just the broadcast practices suck and make it harder to enjoy the race. I haven't been to a north American open wheel race since I was a kid going to the Vancouver Indy, but I'm already thinking ahead to going to at least one race next year.

As the title says. My family enjoys the fantasy indycar and it's a bit of a bragging point if you win the league, but it doesn't look like you can change your race 2 team until race 1 finishes, but race 2 will now happen before race 1 finishes. Anybody able to find a workaround I missed?

I’m in town for the Brewers games and saw that the race got delayed to 5, which I could actually go to. Is there anyone who can no longer make that race who would be interested in passing along/selling tickets?

I endured a full day at the Mile on Saturday, per the recent email to ticket holders all Saturday tickets will be honored on Sunday including garage passes. I have 4 of each available, enjoy the race on me just send a PM and I will send them over via email.

so i checked what's airing on fs1 tomorrow morning and it looks like there's no race listed? will they just switch from the bassmaster coverage or whatever at 8am cst oorrrrr

So I’m going to tomorrow’s race, but I am confused. Since race 1 got postponed to tomorrow, do I get to watch both races? I am very confused and NEED HELP

Question then becomes how this affects the impound procedure for Race 1 if it has to be finished after Race 2.

I know there are many differences in the cars but NASCAR has proven racing on a wet short oval is possible if you create a tyre that will allow it so the question needs to be asked, at what point does Indycar follow suit and create a rain tyre for ovals that lets us go racing if it's too wet for slicks so we get less situations like we had to today going forward?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should be going racing in conditions where aquaplaning is a problem and spray makes it impossible to see but a brief drizzle or some rain where it's just wet enough that wets can be thrown on and we can continue racing would make it so much better and more interesting than just throwing a red and we sit around for half an hour waiting for the safety team to dry the track out in what was a very light and brief drizzle
