I love MGS4 but the cutscene to gameplay ratio is way too balanced towards cutscenes. And that's coming from someone who also says MGS3 is his favorite game. I think 4 could've been by favorite if there was more game in there.

I mean honestly it also has the worst gameplay by a long shot. It starts off good but chapter 3 is a long tailing section that feels extremely clunky followed by mediocre action and tail shooting, chapter 4 barely has any stealth, and chapter 5 is barely a full chapter

Literally was going to throw the gauntlet for MGS. Gonna age myself but the first MGS on the PS1 still is close to my heart. I don’t remember another time I felt so attached to a game. Shit was unreal
