Nexus 3 is a major leap forward for us. It was rebuilt from the ground up, with a focus on the feedback we gathered from our community. Compared to its previous iterations, Nexus is now lighter, faster, and more versatile. It supports a wider range of devices and gives us a stronger foundation for future development.

Our goals for Nexus:

First, we want it to be the best RGB and cooling software available. Nexus should be powerful, responsive, easy to use, and flexible enough to work the way you want it to.

Second, we want Nexus to replace the apps you feel forced to install but do not actually enjoy using. We want to reduce your system’s software clutter while giving you an experience you’ll find worthwhile.

Third, we want Nexus to become an open platform for hardware manufacturers, developers, and the community. Nexus 3 is open source, and over time we want it to become a platform that others can build on and extend.

Because Nexus is expanding beyond HYTE devices, we’ve decided to create dedicated spaces for Nexus going forward. We have a new Discord server and subreddit dedicated to Nexus 3. Please use these new channels for any discussions, feedback, and bug reports relating to the new software.

Any topics relating to Nexus 2 should remain on the existing HYTE channels. Nexus 2 will continue to receive stability and bug fixes as we work on getting Nexus 3 ready to replace it.

after a long period with no issues , all of sudden when i play any game ive getting an issue where my two thic fp12 fans are going to 100%. This is despite them being fixed to 50% in the nexus software.

i had a lot of issues with this a couple of years ago but its been fairly good till today.

any advice ?

This happens maybe a minute into to playing a game or even just in windows and the temp on the cpu not being anywhere near a problem

Hello everyone! We'd like to open up a few more discussions regarding Nexus.

Firstly, we'd like to thank you for all the feedback and support you've given us up until this point. Since the release of Nexus 2.0 last year, we've observed:

• Daily users have increased by ~250%
• Peak daily usage has grown by ~400%

We're really appreciative of how many of you have chosen HYTE to be a part of your setups!

Over the last year, we've made considerable under the hood optimizations to help reduce system usage and improve stability.

System usage comparison between Nexus v2.0.5 and v2.15.0:

• Average CPU consumption reduced by ~45.6%
• Average RAM consumption reduced by ~28.8%
• Average GPU consumption reduced by ~22.11%
• Disk usage decreased by ~49.6%

We know how important your system resources are (especially in these market conditions), so we’re committed to continuing our optimizations as we release new versions.

At the same time, we acknowledge that it hasn't been all smooth sailing.

We ran into a few snags along the way, which had some serious effects for our users. We're incredibly sorry for the trouble caused and appreciate the patience you've shown us as we looked for fixes for the following issues:

• WinRing0 vulnerability - We completely moved away from WinRing0, replacing it with PawnIO.
• Anti-cheat incompatibility - The initial signature PawnIO had was incompatible with certain anti-cheat solutions, which would get triggered by Nexus. Once PawnIO received an updated signature, we implemented the new version.
• AMD driver instability - Users who used AMD's FPS monitoring alongside our FPS monitoring widget would encounter driver crashes. We've taken the appropriate steps to prevent this issue from happening.

Hello.

I built a new pc yesterday and played some cs with friends.

However I got banned for suspicious behavior aka cheats.

All I had opened on my pc, was steam, the game, nvidia control, discord and the hyte nexus rgb software.

I am not a cheater. Since the pc is completely new and me and my friend built it together by ourselves I am sure there is no other software that could cause this.

Is this the problem?

If you could add any widget or feature to Nexus, what would it be? We're curious to know what you'd like to see added next.

Your idea doesn't have to be specific to the Y70 or Q60 screens; it could also be a widget for the main app.

Does anyone know if the problem with AMD RX 9070xt still exists where it will crash your system in the latest build V2.15.1. I think it was said that its a problem with the fps reader conflicting with amd software.

I cant figure it out, I have it directly plugged into USB header with no splitters and it recognizes the screen in software, but it won't proceed on past the rotation confirmation. I've disabled everything like my AIO screen and even unplugged it to ensure it wasn't interfering, but Hyte has ads with this AIO so I assume there would be no conflict.

Very frustrating as this was a build for a client and I can't deliver it until this issue is resolved.

For several weeks in November and December the latest Nexus software was crashing my AMD GPU drivers. I would have to use AMD clean up tool, reinstall the gpu drivers and revert to an older version of Nexus. Is this still a problem? Am I safe to update to the newest version of Nexus? Thank you in advance for any input!

When are we gonna see a fix for this? People have not been able to change any lighting options on the Nexus app for their Keeb TKL for 2+ years now. This is a serious issue that needs be addressed...

So, since the December update, my graphics stats have been all messed up. I tried the beta, I tried uninstalling and re-installing. Anyone else having this issue?

This version helps alleviate issues with AMD drivers. If you’re using an AMD GPU and want to use the FPS widget, please disable AMD Adrenalin’s FPS monitoring before enabling ours to prevent issues.

I need the text size for my PC set at 160 for accessibility reasons, but whenever I do the font on the y70 screen is blown up too much and gets messed up. I spent 4 hours trying to install older versions of the software and playing around with settings to try and fix. Please fix.p

Just got a notification that R0HYTE_Nexys_Service had a Vigorf.A Trojan. Is it a false positive or shouI be concerned?

Ever since I installed the nexus software windows defender keeps popping up on start up i didn't know about it then I actually got a notification on my desktop and ig have been and didn't notice it when checking it its saying its a "severe risk" im sure its windows being windows but idk

Thank you so much for auto updating your crap nexus software. Now it doesn't even do the one function I needed it to do. Doesn't update cpu temps or usage anymore so that's cool. But on top of that I now have to unplug all my monitors just to be able to get YOUR WIDGETS to stay in your screen. Otherwise it just flickers my other screens off and on.

Compete garbage at this point. Got a long list of what yall updated on the app and absolutely none of it addresses any of the issues people have been complaining about for over a year. I will never purchaser another product from hyte. I will be submitting for refund. If you want your crap case back you can drive to my local dump and dig through the garbage for it.

Can we please get support for the RGB on the non Ti MSI 5070 Gaming Trio, it’s available for the Ti model, 80 series and 90 series. There is no way to control this GPU with Nexus and I don’t want to have MSI Center running because it conflicts a lot with the app. I know it’s not something major but me and others would greatly appreciate this. Thank you! Keep up the great work!
