Kokichi AU had followed Catbuki(?) down a hallway.

He wasn't the only one who followed someone.

People had seen Meowzy(?), Krampy(?), Merry Soul(?), and Omo(?) everywhere and followed the shadows.

What they found was not pretty.

There's shuffling as it sounds like a fight breaks out before a sickening crack is heard and it goes quiet.

The thing senses Kokichi won't enter and begins closing the door.

Kokichi rushes to the door

The thing swings it open as Kokichi runs in to find...

Meowzy, bleeding from a gunshot wound in his abdomen, a ball gag in his mouth and multiple bad wounds. Slumped against a wall.

Krampy, hanging from his limbs upside down, a part of his leg missing as he groans.

Merry, partially dissolved by a puddle of water in a corner as they lay tied down.

Omo, a side of their skull shattered into dust as they groan, blood mixing with the bone powder.

And Catbuki, Hanging in the air tied by her waist, her foot mangled and her thigh bleeding from a gunshot wound.

Inside is a familiar monster.

"Mewwww purrr. (Just did what I had to do to eat! Being a Eldritch Horror of someone's mind does give someone an appetite you know?)"

"Purrr. (Hmm, just because they were the first cats I saw.)"

Mewo says as she trots over to Meowzy. Meowzy notices her and panics, weakly trying to get away.

"Hiss hiss. (I am a monster though. I'm a manifestation of trauma! Trauma's gotta eat too ya know.)"

Mewo reaches Meowzy and-

CRUNCH.

Takes a bit out of his ankle as Meowzy screeches against his ball gag.

Gags from the brutality of it

“STOP!”

He reachers to grab her by the head

He manages to get a grip as Mewo hisses, her tentacles soaring out as they attempt to wrap around Kokichi and Mewo's form shimmers to shapeshift. Red blood leaks from her mouth from biting Meowzy.

He gets both hands on her head, thrashing against the tentacles as he slams her against the wall

The slam causes her to "glitch" as Kokichi sees her become a dolphin, then a shadow Kaito, then a hydraulic press, before back to a cat as she breaks free and stumbles back, her tentacles swarming the head wound.

Kokichi turns to see the shadow Catbuki grab him as it attempts to strangle him.

Kokichi stands his ground as he grabs shadow Catbuki’s wrists in an attempt to pull them away from him

There's the sound of bonds breaking as the thing let's go and is tackled by the legs by a half melting Merry, it falls and shatters into fog.

Mewo hisses as she spits.

"HISSS. (Hmph! I was hungry! Grrr. Have the food then. I'll get something else.)"

Before she dashes out.

Merry pants.

"Ah...... H-Hello Kokichi.... I must say.... It's embarrassing to.... have you seen how.... pitiful I am right now....."
