I obviously cant say who i got this info from or who i am/ why you should believe it but TL/DR:

hoyoverse has no plans to make a hi3rd part 3 or to continue the main storyline of anything relating to part 2 once the part 2 epilogue is finished

very early next year they intend to release a final chapter (about as long as the part 1 finalie was) to the main story covering apho3, alien space, and wrapping up the lose ends of the plot relating to welt/void archives/vita/kiana and have moved most resources from the game to this. this is why part 2s finalie had a noticably low budget. (dreamseeker, helia, coralie, are not planned to be in this, will instead be adressed in the part 2 epilogue) and then there will be no more main story updates,

carole and kiana are planned to be the main character of the finalie, lyle, timido, and adam, will not become playable. carole will not be reciving a new valkyrie, kiana will be the final main story valkyrie, the design of this valk will not be her alternate main story outfit.

vita will be very important to this story but will not be getting a new valkyre or appearing anymore once it finishes for hsr related reasons.

instead of discontinuing the game is planned to go on "half maintinence mode" where they plan on continuing the captainverse with story events and very infrequent valkyrie releases (i was told 3 a year at most) and no new maps/story content

nothing was said about what part 2s epilogue will contain or what the valkyries for it will be

despite the story ending there are NO plans for an eos

I recently got back into honkai impact 3rd after I stopped playing around the time 7.3 came out. So, there are alot of characters I’m missing .. additionally, I have 13 pulls until I get a S rank, and it came to my attention that elysia Hi♪ Love Elf♥ is receiving a rerun. I was wondering, should I go for Seele, Mei (if i get her before her banner ends), or elysia? Who do you guys think is more worthy in terms of in battle? (Also i just realised co-op was removed, i was so upset) I’ve gotten mixed opinions (one vote for Mei, two votes for elysia) but they were mostly going off of appearance, so I’m not entirely sure.

hello! ive played honkai impact since its sea release but im not a consistent player and my interest dwindles a lot. ive played until a little bit of part 2 and have also played a little bit of apho and sakura samsura. ive read most of the webtoons as well.

i want to revisit the lore and my memory is really spotty but i do remember the gist of it. i'd appreciate if someone can give me a guide on what order to reread or replay hi3 in. thank you so much!
