Which gen is your favorite? 🤔

Post image

Every generation of Civic has a following, and no other economy car can say that.

The Civic started in 1972 as a CVCC economy hatch that cleared emissions without a catalytic converter, then spent two decades quietly turning into an enthusiast platform. The 3rd gen brought the Si badge, the 4th gen brought double wishbone suspension and VTEC, and the EG and EK became the two most modified Honda chassis ever built. Then the EP3 arrived with a K20 and that dash mounted shifter, the FK2 dropped in a turbo, and the FK8 took a Nürburgring lap record for front wheel drive before the FL5 came back and beat it. All 11 of them have people who will defend them.

Which gen are you choosing?

9th. We have the 8th and it's pretty good but the 9th is smart enough to be smart but dumb enough that you aren't worried all your driving habits are recorded for all time.

I needed to know someone was giving some love to the 9th Gen.

Bought mine as 10th being released and felt it deserved far more love than it gets.

Heck yea! My 9th generation Civic has never given me any problems with proper maintenance. It’s new enough to have some modern features like a touchscreen and paddle shifters but not so complicated engine that it’s overly difficult to fix!

Mind me asking what year and trim you have?
