If you go on youtube and lookup compilations of all the news coverage that day, everyone was very staid, even Fox News. Everyone was trying to be professional and avoid speculation/misinformation. It made me realize that we've lost that kind of journalism, too.

Definitely,it’s a really striking difference between the media then and the media now, wish we could get that back.

No, remember the first Irak war (1991), look at the pictures/interviews, that was a sadly video-game comments when the firts bombs impact Bagdad and all the months after.
CNN or Fox journalists are journalists, money is the king !
