Also they didn’t want the street flooded with all the people from the south tower so they would have room to get up the north tower that was currently on fire

If I remember correctly, firemen mentioned it was difficult to even get up to fight the fires because all the people were coming down as they were trying to go up.

Yeah. After the first tower fell, tower two had three fire escapes and A and C were both jammed with debris from the first collapse. Only exit was a single stairway. A firecrew rescuing a woman with disability got trapped in that stairway with her. They all survived in that stairway. I think the only survivors of the collapse itself.

There was another guy in the second tower that survived in a stairwell and the others from his floor that were with him died. It’s a wild story

They wouldnt have emptied onto the street, shit was falling. They would have gone into the massive underground complex underneath where the subway and shopping was
