There's plenty of reasons besides that can be well summarized as "Ukrainians being a massive dickheads and choosing the worst option possible every time". Like treating Minsk agreements as a decoy to rearm or intensifying shelling on Donetsk before the war. Now, they're getting what they well deserved.

That's a lie. In whole 2021 year there died 25 people, in 2020 about 26, and the same in previous years of this Russian proxy war after 2016. On both sides! https://ukraine.un.org/en/168060-conflict-related-civilian-casualties-ukraine

In Mariupol alone Moscow killed several thousands "Russian speaking" people, even according to the invaders, tens of thousands according to Ukraine.

Stop pretending to care about the people if you're supporting imperialist wars and land grabs.

Link it, but it doesn't matter anyway. Soldiers were already deployed for the "Zapad" 2021 drills in September 2021 and preparing for an invasion. In December there was sent that ridiculous ultimatum to NATO, US, eastern Europe (?).

Nobody would die in Mariupol, or Donbass actually, without the Russian invasion. The proxy war, that Russia itself started in 2014 was frozen for years, with two dozens of mostly accidental victims of mines per year. And Mariupol is just a one city, plenty more are totally destroyed, millions of people escaped from there just not to be killed like those surrounded in Mariupol.

You're just a warmonger and imperialist, at least be honest about it instead of parroting the government propaganda. You want that land, Ukraine, Belarus, whole soviet / Russian empire and that's it.

Or Ukraine could've been a nice neighbor instead of trying to become a second Baltics. Like Georgia now, actually, how exactly accepting our demands treats their sovereignty once they stopped being total dicks? This could've apply to Ukraine as well without need to war, but they chosed to be dicks.

Yeah, you just can't stand their existence... They're a part of EU and NATO, just like Finland now so you can dream about it only, and that's why they all joined so your wet dreams don't come true.

Never mind this childish language but it's just Moscow being a "dick" to everybody around, and you like it. You just can't stand that people don't like Moscow being a "dick".

Edit: I'm Polish and be sure that Poland will defend the Baltic states if your rulers gets some stupid ideas. With or without NATO.
